Makes me miss my 1967 Lambretta 150cc 2 stroke with it's 4 speed shift on the handle bars. I rode that thing all through High School. All the cool kids were riding Honda 90's and couldn't believe they couldn't even begin to keep up with my Lambretta even with my brother on board with me. LOL!
I wore out the license plate bracket popping wheelies and shooting sparks everywhere dragging the plate and bracket on the ground. Never did learn to balance a proper wheeliee!!!! I do like that BMW 400 and the 650. They have full footboards for both the rider and passenger like the Lambretta did.
still got mine 69 gp225,and would`nt swap it for any of these,

My favorite scooter is KYMCO
I dont know why but i felt in love with maxi scooter recently. It is better than touring bike in my opinion. It can do long riding. Have a lot of space to put your stuff. And the best is the torque.
Suzuki should make that new Burgman 650-750 Executive and sell in the U.S. please.

I agree! I have been shopping around trying to find the right 650 Burgman in white plastic. Don't want one I have to fix all the time. No luck for anything anywhere near me. But as I age my blue collar hands just don't do heavy clutches and heavy bikes like they once did. And having spent most of my High School years riding a scooter everywhere, these new maxi scooters are a great fit for me now at 70 years old.

We don't get many big scooters in the UK. We get the '400' (350cc) BMWs - for the price anywhere else pays for their 650. I'd like to see cars priced out of city centres because then we'd likely get far more choice of bikes.

They stopped making it. It will make its return in ‘23-24. Retooled to meet new Euro cafe standards. That’s the rumor anyway.
