Forget the compression ,torque , bore and stroke . what about saddle height , top cruising speed , MPG or KM per Litre that is more of what the customer wants to know !
These scooters are huge! I like the undertone looks of some of these, and wonder why yamaha and honda don't import those to the USA. I'd love a Yamaha Exciter, I really think the market in the US is ready for that.
Japanese bike makers do not want these maxi scooters rob the market share of big bikers off. After all, the cost of manufacturing a bike is cheaper than making a maxi scooter. Should maxi scooters be popular in North America, then most bike riders would switch to maxi scooters instead, then there wouldn't be so many buyers changing scooters every two to three years to upgrade the power output.
And if you live in America, it’s not being sold here. I’m Believe I’m going with the Kymco AK 550cc. Thank you Yamaha for giving me a lower priced option at nearly all the same stats.

But that Kimco DT 360 would make a nice one if Honda doens't bing their bigger ADV's to the USA!
I live in Kansas City, Mo, I had to drive to Fort Smith Arkansas to Wheelers dealership to purchase my Kymco 8 hr round trip, my other choice was near St Louis on the Illinois side. Arkansas more scenic route, I bought the Kymco on looks alone, when I got home and drove this machine I was blown away by it's power, comfort and speed, best decision I ever made, good luck this scooter hard to find in the Midwest👍😎
Bring back the Honda Helix exactly like it was only bump the engine to a 350. If that's to much to ask, keep it 250 just get rid of the soft gasket in the exhaust and go with a slip-fit coupling.
Owned the helix and was a good one , now I have the forza 300 and the ak550, the ak550 is a blast , can't compare with helix and not even the forza and not even the Burgman 400, quality I don't know much about my ak550 but honda is a quality build company so can't go wrong with honda.
Americans are on concerned with power and top end speed when it comes to biking.....unless you live in California....they could care less about miles per gallon, comfort and enjoying a ride in the country going the Speed Limit....
Every bike looks like a cartoonish alien spaceship except the Vespa. I don't understand why no one builds larger displacement vintage styled bikes. I'd buy those all day long. I swore off modern Vespas several years back after owning a string of brand new ones, all having significant reliability issues from the start. Someone please build a reliable 250cc+ vintage bike and take my money. Please.
Wish they'd make a base model T-max, no bells & whistles, just a 500 basic (bigger X-max basically). They're asking for car prices when folks can buy a car instead 🤪
