The song "Ain't Seen Nothing Yet" is a classic rock song by Bachman-Turner Overdrive (BTO). It was released in 1974 on their album "Not Fragile" and became one of their biggest hits. The song features Randy Bachman's distinctive guitar riff and vocals, along with a catchy chorus. It's known for its energetic rock sound and memorable lyrics.
"Taking Care of Business"
"Roll on Down the Highway"
Not Fragile Shotgun Rider Taking Care of Business Wheels Won't Turn
Let it ride is a good one as well.
No sugar tonight!!!!! You will love this!!!!!
Blue collar is a good one also. A different sound from them.
YEAH!! TCB-BTO
Randy Bachman was a member of one of the greatest Canadian bands of all time, the Guess Who and it’s a crime that they are not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!!
Watched a video/concert with Randy & Burton performing Guess Who and solo songs. Lot of dialogue about the songs. Entertaining.
R&R Hall of Fame is a farce.
It's a commercialized shrine to bands that were popular with the writers and editors at Rolling Stone.
If you peer behind the curtain you'll find the same group of people in both corporations.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is BS anyway.
Definitely
Fuk the HOF.
Randy wrote the song as a birthday gift to his brother (who stuttered) to have a little fun. The label guy heard it and insisted it be on...with the stuttering. lol
Thanks! Yea, they taped it both ways, record company insisted on releasing the stutter version. Wrong but, funny and they knew better, obviously. Peace
That's not quite the way it happened but, close enough. They used to use the (instrumental) song a lot in the studio, especially when noodling around (i.e. warming up, setting the amps and mics, in between recordings, etc.), and yeah, Randy Bachman added the stuttering lyrics partly a joke to his brother ... who actually loved it. As I understand it, they were short 1 (hit) song for the album they were working on, the band suggested it, and after hearing it, the producer insisted they use it ... WITH the stutter.
Their songs "takin' Care Of Business", "Let It Ride" and "Roll On Down The Highway" are good too.
I heard that their hometown of Winnipeg is renaming a bridge the Bachman Turner Overdrive. A great way to honour them with a sense of humour thrown in.
Proposed to change the name to Bachman-Turner Overpass.
BTO was (and still is) the ultimate road trip music.. Windows down and the volume all the way up...
Hell Yeah
I can see that
AGREED BIG TIME!!!
The National Stuttering Association (or whatever they call themselves) apparently awarded this song the best stuttering song of all time, beating out such other famous stuttering songs as Bennie and the Jets, My Generation by the Who, and many others.
😂
They have sooooo many great songs! And yes. We wore the best clothes in the 70’s. I miss it so much.
BTO is one of the best live party-bands ever... they never failed to just shred the stage...
“Taking Care of Business” is a BTO must!
Great Reaction! "Let it Ride" is a must!
A blast from the past! Takes me way back
Great pick fellas Randy Bachman and Fred Turner were a great duo Randy left the Guess Who and started this band. Too many awesome tunes to mention but definitely worth a dive!
YES!!!!! one of my favorite jams of all time!🔥🔥🔥
It burst on to the scene in 1974. #1 in 22 countries!
Love me some BTO! Love the 70's PERIOD! Thanks guys! 🙌💞
They did write some catchy tunes and monopolized the radio for a few years.
It makes me think of summer...
One of those classic hooks you never forget! I've heard it a million times, but I've never once seen the band.
Already many years on You Tube
@@love-vy1ry I don't doubt that but let me check my Search history...NOPE, no Bachman Turner Overdrive! 🤣
Two guitars, bass, and drums. Just as God intended.
These guys have got some real bangers so don’t quit on them.
Saw them in concert.
Tore the house down.
Very loud.
Many hits…enjoy the ride.
Yeah! Let it Ride!
Thanks guys! 🎉 Great reaction!! I think you’ll like “Let it Ride” and “Roll on down the highway” too!
My hometown boys from Winnipeg, Canada 🇨🇦
Randy Bachman the vocalist and guitarist on this song was also in The Guess Who who wrote American Woman.
He left the Guess Who and started BTO.
This song started out as a bit of a joke with the stuttering as one of Randy 's brothers stuttered. Management heard the song and thought it would be a hit and it was.
Other BTO songs
Blue Collar
Not Fragile
Taking Care of Business
Looking out for number one
Hey You
Cheers
Let it Ride, Blue Collar, 4 Wheel Drive and Not Fragile are some good tunes from BTO.
Love love love this song!!
I saw them in concert in 1974. I was leaning on the stage!! They had many hits and the concert was awesome. They were known as BTO. I was 14 at the time!!❤
Bachman Turner Overdrive sounds like a law firm!😂
They were WAAY ahead of their time....
They were exactly of their time. They broke no new ground. They played great, straight ahead, fun rock.
Randy Bachman is the singer/songwriter/guitarist that had previously been in The Guess Who (American Woman, These Eyes, No Sugar Tonight) and Turner is the bass player.
They are from my home Province of Manitoba, Canada. Also from Manitoba are The Guess Who, Neil Young who spent his teenage years here and started his first band (The Squires), Monty Hall from Let’s Make a Deal, and Winnie the Pooh who was named after the capital city, Winnipeg.
Another killer band/song out of Manitoba, Queen City Kids/Dance!
@@sw7833 The Crash Test Dummies
Still have the LP. Great song.
Love BTO ❤️ Randy is fire 🔥 Taking care of business has to be next. Great reaction as usual guys and Peace out 🙏 ✌️ ☮️
Their BEST track on this album, is "Let it Ride". HYPE!!!!!!!
Huge rabbit hole here guys. Randy Bachman was the lead guitarist and major songwriter in the Guess Who. Growing up in Winnipeg Randy learned from Lenny Breaux, a noted jazz/rock guitarist. BTO is known for hard rocking songs but they also have some very jazzy tunes. Blue Collar and Looking Out For #1 mainly. BTO was huge in the 70's.
2 of them are brothers. think it's lead singer and drummer. Keep on rocking 🥁🎸
Seen them in concert back in the day (70’s) was a teenager and loved them
An absolute classic !! 👍🏽👍🏽
I have worked with Jack Richardson (the producer of the Guess Who) and Randy Bachman and I had radio shows over the same years and talked on occasion, too!
This was the sound track to the summer of 1974!
These guys are HARD! Check out “Taking Care of Business”
We called this stuff “Wheatfield Soul”
Peace - from British Columbia, Canada!
Love your channel!
Great reaction Gentlemen. Nice to hear BTO again. A lot of great tunes from that band.
Great song by Randy Bachman who used to be in The Guess Who “ from Canada!👍💚💚💚
Randy Bachman -- a tremendously talented songwriter and lead guitarist.
Let it ride is 🔥🔥worth checkin out 🤟
Let it Ride is my favorite by them.
This old lady loves you guys!
Let It Ride is my favorite BTO song. Came out when I was in high school. Blue Collar is another great BTO song, more low key than most of their hits but worth a listen.
3 Bachman brothers Randy, Robbie & Tim, Fred Turner. Make up BTO my hometown band.
I saw Randy and the band perform last summer. Still touring with his band and his son Tal. Also saw him with Burton Cummings a few years ago. They did BTO, BURTON stuff and The Guess Who. Amazing
Led Zeppelin “ over the hills and far away “ epic song
HOORAY - BTO!!! This one made my day, Guys!! They have so many GREAT TUNES!! ENJOY!!
Saturday Afternoon public skating, 1976 , this album was on repeat in every hockey rink on Canada
One of my FAVORITES!
BTO was a great radio friendly rock band. Short, catchy songs played right into radios idea of music at the time. Takes nothing away from their music, and the multiple styles they mastered.
As a person who stutters I always hated this song but over the years I learned to love it.
Such a banger from way back!! Must hear Taking Care of Business!!
Loved this song when it came out ❤️🇬🇧
BTO didn’t eff around🤘❤️
Yeah BTO.
Great rabbit hole of good music
On this song you have
Randy Bachman. Lead vocals/ guitar
FC Turner. Bass / vocals
Rob Bachman. Drums / vocals
Blair Thornton. Lead guitar/ vocals
Oh this is a Banger!! IMO!! Love your reactions!!
Yes the music in the 70s was great and I was a teenager
Randy Bachman was an original member of the iconic Canadian band, the Guess Who. There biggest hit was American Woman later covered by Lenny Kravitz. This would be a great song for you to do a reaction too! Appreciate you, gentlemen!
This was the first concert I saw back in 1979 in Iowa!!
Canadian bands get so little recognition but we have so many talented musicians! Check out Trooper: Here For A Good Time, Two for the Show and Santa Maria... oh and Raise a Little Hell, of course!
The Lead Singer on this one, Randy Bachman was one of the founding members of the Guess Who (American Woman) and then split over issues of Lifestyle (Randy was a Mormon) to form Brave Belt which morphed into Bachman Turner Overdrive. Randy would later leave this band and form Union (1 Album) and then do solo stuff and reunion tours with the Guess Who & Bachman Turner Overdrive. The drummer is brother Robbie Bachman and another Brother Tim played guitar on the first 2 albums. Fred Turner is the other big guy in the video (thus Bachman-Turner)
Check out Let it Ride and Roll on Down the Highway that had their other amazing gravel voiced singer bass player
Over the years (in my 60s now) I got about 10 or so speeding tickets. I can say that half of them I got when I was listening to BTO!
BTO was very popular in the 70's. "Let It Ride", "Takin' Care of Business", etc..!
Another great song choice. Enjoyed y'all's reaction as always.
I'm from Atlanta & this song makes me think of the old rock station 96-Rock (96.1 on the radio). Every week they would let listeners submit a 6-pack of request songs & if they picked that listener's list, they'd play it during that Friday's rush-hour. The ONLY reason I ever knew of this song is because whoever won had picked 6 songs with the theme of them all having stuttering in them. LOL. So it was this song, George Thorogood's "Bad to the Bone", Elton John's "Bennie & the Jets", The Who's "My Generation", David Bowie's "Changes" & I 'think' the last 1 was The Knack's "My Sharona".
🇨🇦 we still look like this ❤
Ever Heard of Pablo's Cruise !!!! Listen to Them Also , You Will Like !💗👌. These Guys are Great ! I graduated in 1974. Partied on the Rhine River , Germany to This . Tunes Were Absolutely Great 💗👌. Wore Mini- Skirts 💯 (Jack's Wife)
BTO could get the place rockin'!!!!
Good tune! I was a teenager when this was popular.
Great band with many hits . Cheers eh!
Check out "Let it Ride" by BTO. Turner is singing on that one and its awesome!
Fun song ! Stuttering never sounded so good . Randy Bachman sang on this one , their bass player is Fred Turner who has one of the powerful voices ever in rock music . Check out their song " Blue Collar " very cool jazzy / rock song . Good reaction down memory lane
Saw them live in the mid-70's, definitely one of the best concerts. Check, out Let it Ride ...
One of my all time favorite tunes! From the album "Not Fragile" a great album from 1974! You might want to give the title cut Not Fragile a listen to, it has a great bass line and it rocks!
Randy's son Tal had a hit with " Shes so high" theres definitely talent in the family 😉
This song is classic . Junior High School for me !. You guys need to cathch up Lol Party On
More COWBELL!!!! I love that you sit and listen and not keep talking and interrupting. Good job!
Saw these guys open for Van Halen . I also heard a radio DJ refer to them as Bachman Turner Underware.
BTO be takin care o business every day, every way and working overtime
The stutter was a joke by Randy Bachman to his brother who did stutter.Cool band with Randy singing lead on some songs, and Fred Turner singing and playing bass on some songs.Try Let It Ride to hear Fred singing lead. Thanks guys for this one.
They had three big hits: this song, "Taking Care of Business (Everyday)" used in FEDEX ads and "Roll on Down The Highway"
Chicago, Dobbie brothers, Allman brothers are bands to investigate- huge hits , big hits from all of them
Need to check out the "Guess Who" as well.
From BTO check out "Blue collar" Really classy song.
Randy Bachman and Fred Turner
As a joke, I’ve heard several songs like this called ‘speech impediment rock’. Great stuff!!
K-Pop lmao Randy Bachman would be howling with laughter. He is a super nice guy. Randy was also in The Guess Who with legend Burton Cummings. (Canadian legends). Lotsa great bands up here. Try a tune called Blue Collar. Jazz influenced and Randy is an amazing guitar player.
Finally, now you guys are diving in to actual music 😊
It's a good thing to mix it up from time to time!
I believe BTO the lead singer, dedicated to his brother who was a stutter. It did very well which they were surprised by it on the charts
That was the great Randy Bachman on guitar and lead vocals . Now you need to play a song with the great Fred Turner on vocals ie: Let it Ride or Roll on down the Highway.
These boys could go HARD, too! Check out their track "Sledgehammer" just to see how.
Love seeing you guys discovering music from my youth.
Outstanding, loved the reaction. Proud Canadian here. Request: Golden Earing "Twilight Zone"
React to Let It Ride!
Ah the days of hippies and satin pants lol. I'm still a fan this is music from my childhood.
Bachman & Turner where originally in the Guess Who.
I miss the 70s and the 80s
In Austin Powers Dr. Evil was going to use the "Bachman Turner Overdrive" to hold the earth for ransom.
My girl friend at the time took this one to heart we have been married for 44 years - she still plays it at times and takes it to heart
