I have a CC and so far love it. I traded in my A4 and haven't looked back. It's one of the best looking sedans on the road IMHO and is very practical for driving with the family too.
My dads got one of these and I can tell you now, I’m 6’ 3 and I’m perfectly comfortable sitting in the back of the car. I do slouch a little but it’s not a problem, this middle seat comes down to use as an armrest and you can really relax. Leg room is perfectly fine too. I’d say it’s the best coupe for families.
This lady is crazy, i got my CC for 5 years already, done a lot of miles everywhere in Europe, never had any problem with the car, always keep well maintenance very well, i will not sell this car ever, to me will die, very proud of it.
Bought a 2012 CC V6 FSI a few months ago and I’ve fallen head over heels for it. It’s the most comfortable car I’ve ever driven, great performance and let’s be honest it’s so satisfying to look at.
well so far so good with the DSG for me. I guess it depends also on the handling? I heard the rumors in the past but nothing appeared to me. The manuals are also pretty good and slick, not like some BMWs or Mercs. I would advise you to test drive both if you can. DSG for smooth and easy handling and ride, manual i guess for more sporty and immediate torque (DSG might show some turbo lag for a second when you press suddenly the pedal at low speeds till it shifts to correct gear). That's the case with most automatics. You can drive both fast so it's up to you
It's a 2014 model. No problems so far. I would advise you though to check it at winter time so you check if there any squicks from the plastics. Cheers to you too mate
Guys don't believe these reviews. I owned this car for four years. Its well spacious for everyone even my 6ft tall friend. It's a fantastic car this over cla/a4 any day.

True story, i have one for nearly 2 years and even when i'm in the back seats i feel comfortable. I measure 187cm so honestly for 4 people it's a very good car. 2.0tdi 140hp cbab engine 5.2l/100km and with 155k so far so good, apart from oil, filters and of course timing belt change between 120k to 150k everything runs smooth.
@@sdrubaa interesting cause am also 1.87 m and if i sit behind myself i need to slounce enough in order for my head to not hit the ceiling. You can go some distance this way but not a long trip. Don't know why I'm watching this, I've had my 63 place CC for 3 years now and I can honestly say it's the best car I've had, comfortable, loads of space, very very good looking, handles great, plenty of grunt (184bhp TDI GT) and great mpg, honestly don't think I'll get rid of it until it completely dies
I have had mine for a year and 35000 miles. I will say the following; it is comfortable I drove from Dundee to Warwick last week in 6 hours without the need to stop. The equipment is decent, particularly the sat nav and the fuel economy is good. However, it is big, the vw dealer still calls it a Passat, the clutch had to be replaced, the rear brake capilier came loose causing a bang in the cabin and loss of braking power and the cabin rattles a lot and I personally prefer a normal hand brake.
I had the 2009 model and I really loved it, I now have 2013 still a nice car but it no longer has the sporty look since the front grill and lights are no longer the same ..the original had a much deeper curvature,,,,,
Considering the VW CC is still in the regular cars category, not premium brand like BMW 3 Series or Audi A4, I think is a good option and it looks really good. We have to take in consideration that it might cost less that the premium competitors. And once again, Rebecca, I love your reviews!
No i'm just commenting of the visibility at the back. The back glass is too small and any form of occupants in the rear seats would degrade it further. In my opinion this is a little lack of planning on VW's side when taking into account rear passengers as headroom is also lacking. Overall I expected a little more consideration for a car that is supposed to be able to seat 4-5 instead of 2. They could have sacrificed a little boot space for rear passenger comfort and also driver visibility.
because the V6 TDI is for cars wich mount the engine longitudinal (audi a4, a6, a8, phaeton) and so it does not fit into the passat (and skoda superb) where the engines are mounted transversely.
so what if it is in the same price range of a A4 the only reason the A4 is in the same price range is because it is a more perineum branded car compared to the cc and the skoda superb is also in the same price range put has been put against a A6 AND A E CLASS
nope. i just drop the v6 top of the range 2009 cc. it is fantastic! highly recommended over the diesel one. the v6 engine has a smooth power delivery and it goes like a rocket when you want it to.
I have always enjoyed Rebecca's reviews but I just can't agree with so much of what she said. For me the styling tweeks are not minor they're huge. I can't believe what VW did to the front and rear of, what was, a very distintive car; one reviewer said that the Passat CC was the best looking car that VW had ever made. The new CC look so similar to the Passat from the front and rear it's almost impossible to tell them apart, unless you know your stuff. I am very familiar with the A4 and Passat CC and in my opinion the VW is so much better looking, but that us just my opinion. Where I live in the UK I will only see one Passat CC per day if that, A4s I see by the dozen. I know you could argue you see so few CCs because they're so terrible. One thing I think we can all agree on is, it's sad we won't be seeing Rebecca reviewing any more cars for Car Buyer.
Looks nice, except there's just something "off" about the front side. That bonnet gap, and it just looks a bit too square around the light, compared to the rear.
Hello good day need some info please on this right hand drive Passat cc who is there manufacturer or where do they assemble china japan or Germany which country?
Is it comfortable if you have a baby and you have to put the kid’s chair on the back seats? I know that it has the sport vision and shape and its not that large, but still i think it shouldn’t be a problem but still want some opinion.
VW and it's subsidiary brands just make some of the best cars out there price/value/deirability wise numorous car reviewrs agree here, but of course it is imposible to fit everyones taste there will always be people that like a certain car while others dislike it.
it's funny ... i once ate myself up to a point a drive in my passat started to annoy me and got angry and started running and exercising again and enjoying the drives now... what a healthy car choice :D
This car is wicked...at the moment I got a 2007 R-line passat 170 tdi sport...I was lucky enough to find mine with full cream vienna leathers, heated front and rear seats and bi-xenons...I spent extra £480 on the RNS510 satnav straight out of an R32..Personally I reckon passats definately compete with A4s and 3 series, but you would have to find 1 fully loaded
oh come on passat was build with a V6 TDi so it fits! The V6TDI from Audi fits as well when they test a bit and when they would have the drive to put it in.

The Audi A4 has about the same rear headroom. The A3 has horrible rear headroom. I have a 2012 R Line with manual stick. It's very quick and responsive, drives very smooth. I would call it a sport sedan, but would love an additional 50 HP!!
no it dosent..you'd have to see it in person...the 2013 is clearly better inside out. i rented one and got stopped by multiple people asking me "what car is that?"

The headroom in the back isn't too bad. I'm a little over 6', didn't have any issues.

so amazing those German cars
and it comes ith bi-xenon lights that move in the dirrection of the steering wheel, a real cool feature.
why does a 2.0 turbo engine produce only 138bhp??? i still dont get it whether that is the UK standard or what

I assumed she meant smarter as more of a "serious" or "family" style in terms of design while CC is more for a sportish man :)
If you had the front of the Passat cc and the back of the CC you would have the perfect car!
YES exactly !!!
