That's actually a really fun concept here. The characters are uncomfortable with some of the things she says and does, but in a respectful way. Not the "Santa Baby" kind of way. It's an interesting balance and, as someone else said, Melissa's acting really helps make PJ someone you want to root for.
@@malcomchase9777 yeah. They could have made P.J an asshole or a sociopath, but she's a kind hearted, supportive woman who also does her best to make the other women in the group feel good. "I hope to ex out his eyes with his blood" lololol
Each time I erased an individual .... trophy lol
Melissa is one of the very few hosts that could not only be a strong cast member, but could lead the entire cast.
Her poor father, first he lost his van down by the river and then he lost his life
Lol
Perfection
Aside from Melissa's character, I always find it funny when the girls play housemoms. They totally nail all the cliche things. Eating better, falling in love again with husband, etc.
"That's fair" HAHAHAHA
The yogurt part had me freaking dying
"How do you feel about gunfire in the home?"
"Well, I asked you to take off your shoes, so..."
I love how P J is so calm about it all and how she is supportive of everyone else
Absolutely adore Melissa McCarthy. I remember when she was just sweet li'l Sookie St James in "Gilmore Girls". So sad to hear she won't be returning for the new Netflix series. Lorelai without her best friend and partner? Seems a little empty to me.
Lars Stoerloes sookieeeeeee ❤❤❤
Lars Stoerloes she was in it, not long but she was in it.
Sookiee didn't shine in GG. It's better that she has her solo movie career now
That was a hilarious idea for a skit.
Melissa is amazing. There are many great guests on SNL, but you can see how much effort Melissa makes, every time she's in a sketch. Awesome.
the delivery of the "this is yogurt" line is so good and the little expression after is just perfect
3:39 that zoom out to the camo is great 😂
"Coincidentally, I also have yogurt." lmao Love McCarthy.
"I just kinda got into it. It made sense to me." ROFL
She always blows everyone else away!
"How do you feel about gunfire in the home?"
"Well, I asked you to take off your shoes, so..."
Lmao! 😆
I like how everyone in the comments is so supportive of PJ and appreciates her polite, well-spoken manner.
Who else wants a sequel???
Me, me!
Coming soon to a theater near you- the spectacular, thrilling tale of one woman's ambitious plot to avenge her father's horrific, untimely death; and the lengths she went to to bring his killer "P.J.s Justice"!!
Seconded
Melissa is a legend!!!!She's so funny, I love her :)
I fucking LOVE Melissa Mccarthy
I love fucking Melissa Mccarthy
"I consider my body a tool, kinds like a Swiss Army knife." LMFAO
I love Melissa McCarthy. She is a non-stop, laugh riot.
I think PJ is my favorite SNL character, along with Target Lady and David S. Pumpkins

one of the best skit .. melissa doesn't even looking at the q card..
It looks that way, but they're down by the floor. She's looking downward a lot.
I can’t STAND the SNL cue cards! Pretty distracting, but a price I willingly pay (or don’t :)) to see this gold free on RUclips ;)
I cracked up at “each time I’ve erased an individual, which is part of my journey”.
How... how do you fell about gun fire in the home?
Ed J.L M.B.A.
HOW DID THEY NOT ALL DIE OF LAUGHTER WHEN SHE SAID "COINCIDENTALLY I ALSO HAVE YOGURT" OMGGGGGGG 💀💀
Because they are professionals. The people that laugh on the skits shouldn't be on as far as I'm concerned. There are millions of other actors who would do it right.
Because it’s just not that deep
Melissa's delivery with everything she does is amazing. And amazing writers on top of that. Great skit.
