When she was Chris Farley’s age when he died she wasn’t this good. She has decades of experience in comedy that he never got to have. She didn’t truly break through as a big star until her 40s. But now when it comes to physical comedy yeah she’s the best. Bill Irwin is probably the greatest living clown now and you can see him on Sesame Street now and then in his golden years but Melissa McCarthy right now is just so great.
I do not follow personal info on people, but did you ask him about this joke before using it? I would reccomend not making gay jokes at all, because in the country there are still hate crines commited to gays, and bullying. As a teacher I find it is the cause of deep suffering for kids of all ages. Best to not teach your audience to laugh at that.
