  • Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel! Today, I'm going on an exciting adventure in the Canadian wilderness. I've packed my gear in the jeep, brought my trusty dogs along, and we're heading out to catch and cook some delicious Ruffed grouse.
As we venture deeper into the woods, I ride trails that lead to bodies of water, and the sound of nature surrounds us. The anticipation is building, as I seek upland game birds!
Finally, I find the perfect camping spot, nestled among tall red and white pine trees. It's time to set up camp and prepare for the catch of the day. I unload my camping gear, pitch the tent, and start a cozy campfire.
I reflect on my puppy Riley's first grouse hunt and how he embarked on a thrilling adventure through the wilderness following in Lexy's foot steps.
At the campsite, I expertly prepare the grouse for cooking. With a mix of spices and a Scorpion pepper, the aroma of grouse bacon creamy carbonera meal fills the air. The fire crackles, and my dogs eagerly watch as I cook the grouse to perfection.
Finally, it's time to dig in. The tender and flavorful meat rewards our efforts. As we savor the meal, I can't help but feel grateful for this incredible experience and the bond shared with my loyal companions.
Thank you all for joining me on this catch and cook grouse campout with my dogs. If you enjoyed this adventure, please don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe to my channel. Till next time, happy cooking and happy exploring!

Wow my friend, success accomplished, teaching Riley about hunting this bird. Good camping and you entertained coyote until the end witnessing that beautiful forest with the landscapes of Otono. Nice trunks of those trees. I am passionate about seeing abandoned cars in places like that, it makes my imagination fly. Blessings to you.

Knorr's for the Win! That moment when you ask yourself, "what did I just do" (in reference to trying the pepper) I remember the first time I tried some raw habanero, it wasn't my mouth that concerned me but the heat in my chest when I swallowed it :) Nice trip!

Marc, what a fun video. Came for the carbonera. You lost me on the scorpion pepper, though, lol. 90% of the time, we just batter and fry our grouse, and we use the bones, etc, to make stock. What a good trip video.

HAHA! The Scorpion pepper was a scorcher, I had my wife put it in a chili as well and that was good. Next year she's going to grow some more 👍 The trip over all was a great intro to hunting with the puppy!
      Thanks Dan✌️

Fantastic fall trip, nice camping spot too. I like the tent and the modified Princess Auto wood stove. Too hot in there to cook though LOL I really wish I had one of those Suzuki jeeps, they are the best and can go farther than many bigger vehicles. Your channel could easily have a companion cooking channel, Marc. Just post the cooking segments and voila, you have a second RUclips channel! It would be a hit. People love to watch outdoor cooking and you are a true Chef! Scorpion pepper, eh? Sounds scary Hot!! Riley and Lexie are doing good on the hunting. Couple of nice birds too.

It was a beautiful fall day but way to warm! I do have plenty of cooking going on so I created a play list for it but a second channel? No, to much work 😆 Riley is learning more on every outing. The jeep will go on fore what seems for ever on a tank, especialy when im mostly just idling in first or second gear.
      Thanks for comming out Craig✌️

You'll have to get some cargo pants. That way you won't have to travel with things on the roof; they can all be in your pockets!🤗🤪🙄@@OpenAirOutdoors
