- Welcome to my channel! Join me as I take you on a peaceful walk through a beautiful hardwood forest with my two furry companions Lexy and Riley. As we stroll through the trees, I will also be harvesting chaga from a mature Yellow Birch tree to later having my chaga tea among the trees by the shores of a still frozen lake.

This type of video has been on my mind to put together for some time! Not going to be the new direction for the channel but it was fun to make, If the response is good and positive maybe the odd one could come out in the future.

When you take a walk like this, the spirit is maximally comforted, the function that nature has is valued. Sometimes unexpected things are found on these tours. I imagine that in cold places like that, a Chaga tea must be an elixir, just like for us a drink of fresh water in the desert. BLESSINGS. 👍🏼👍🏼
This was a gorgeous spring day with the air a little brisk, so yes a hot tea is very enjoyable! Like the forest👍

Very nice...I needed that:) Love seeing the pooches enjoying being themselves. Riley is so comical and Lexi obviously enjoys him and he brings out the youth in her. That was a huge birch tree and a nice outing. Thanks for sharing Marc.

From the first crackle of the leaves under foot and the birds chirping, you had the full attention of our two cats! They watched this whole thing with me. They know good content when they see it, eh. The tiny alcohol stove and all the other gear is showcased very well. The crushing of the Chaga in a towel reminds me of breaking coffee beans the same way when I forget that I took whole beans instead of ground coffee. Neat that you found a trail called Misty--great memory of your dog! You have some really nice gear: the classic canvas backpack, the cool axe, the ferro rod, alcohol stove and thermos, all great possessions. I learned something new about chaga, a tea I didn't know existed. You had some cool drone footage too and Riley dug a hole to China. All in all, a great hike!
Be sure to get the cats to subscribe if they like the content😆 I have trails throughout my property and have named them all after all my dogs past and present, Riley will get his own this summer. The pack is my favourite, it was my 50th anniversary gift from the wife. A lifetime of gear accumulation has its perks👍 That big yellow birch in your back yard may have chaga on it!

A lo of my earlier videos were ASMR because I hated talking on camera, I've been thinking about doing another I really enjoyed this one pretty relaxing , dogs were enjoying themselves, crispy leaves under foot always nice sound. Some Moose tracks always nice to see 4:30 dogs obviously had a scent of something , nice chunk of Chaga on that big old birch , I'm still looking for a source even though I've seen a lot of birch I can't find chaga 19:00 mark always find it interesting what the dogs smell when they do that my Tucker does it often seldom finds anything I figures where a wild animal as urinated LOL.
The pups no doubt are having a reaction to the smells of critters in the forest! Lexy has a nasty habit of rolling in the stinky things when she finds it! Don't give up the chaga search it will come to you👍
