I recently got asked to do a review video with an offered "payment" of a FREE ROLEX! Here's why I said no.

Hahahaha they were trying to send me a Tudor if I payed for the shipping and taxes. They sent me the 'exact' same message about the 'negative' experiences. I haven't made a video on them because I too wasn't a 100% sure how legit they are. But now it seems like they're trying to go outside of Asia too. I blocked them at the end after playing along. Good decision to dodge this bullet.

Yes that's at least three of us now that I know of they have tried it with.

@@AussieWristWatch if they had offered you a $500 watch, it might have sounded more convincing. They must think people are stupid.. some people are🤣

    Scam!
I had this exact experience with a different type of collectable. They wanted 180. Dollars shipping.
I found out that I was one of many that "WON" .
If I had to guess they would probably steal the shipping cost and maybe the credit card info.
I think you did the right thing. Best wishes.

Scam. I used to run a magazine (back in the print days) that was an affluent lifestyle magazine and we worked with the manufacturers direclty or their PR reps. They sent out everything from cosmetics, which we were told to keep to one time a pair of teal blue alligator purses each with with a retail of $28k. With those, they were sent back and insured and either the PR rep or the manufacturers paid all freight, insurance and tax. This is dodgy.

From my point of view the watch not only was fake, but reaching to have your adress was the obvious aim of the trick !! Thank God you didn't fall in the trap

I think send content and merchandise was their, yes, SCAM. You played it smart. When something of that value is free... it just doesn't add up. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Cheers.

Respectfully, hard to believe you really thought for a second that you would receive a free Rolex ( a Tiffany dial OP no less) in exchange for a review. I'm a subscriber, but come on.

Totally, I never thought it was legit - hence why I was asking them so many questions and having a lugh about it with Tony.
