Love your collection - and our tastes are aligned across the board! I missed MULTIPLE deals on a Fears Archival this year - I still hope to get one in the future for under list. I’m also into the PAM177, with its matte titanium case and the view of the ETA in back. Hope to add that at some point as well.

Brilliant collection! Thank you so much for sharing. I have a Fears too and think they are simply great! I have always longed for “my Panerai” but my wrists are small. Now they have the Due 38! 🙏 👏🏻. Great strap on your Moonswatch. I have the Blancpain Scuba. Sure they are not made as well as other watches but they are so much fun! Don’t understand why trolls bother. There is so much for us all to learn and enjoy from each other!!!

Great collection. Some watches that I hadn't considered in there...... I sense that I'll be spending a bit more this year :) . You could look at Christopher Ward's collection, the Supercompressor is my next target. Elliot Brown, another UK brand, have some lovely watches, I have a Tyneham automatic limited edition, which I love.

Nice modest collection... you are right with the Rolex not pretentious, especially the explorer and sub 👍 my next year watch would be the Seamaster 300 75th anniversary, but hopefully in the grey market because the retail price is ridiculous 😂

PS - some of the highlights of my year have been responding to your trolls. I was particularly proud of my response to the fool who wasn't interested in woman's opinion of a man's watch, which may have suggested the poor sap would have more luck with ladies if he stopped asking their opinion about his comics and action figures. Also as to my collection I have a Rolex explorer one 39mm, and a heuer Carrera reissue, an iron man timex which was my first watch my parents got me when I was 12 and what got me into watches,
I would like to get a Rolex date just with a blue dial and a fluted bezel,
I have to admit the Date Just is super classy and I didn't really appreciate it until this year - that would be an awesome get for your collection... fingers crossed for you!

I know this watch, they are catering to a market that probably isn't me, but I think they are very pretty and perfect if someone loves Panerai but always thought they were way too big for them.

Has anyone met that fanatical Aussie Panerai collector "Hammer Bloor" (correct spelling?) He's a former extreme sportsman (sadly wheelchair bound now) & his collection of these has to be nearing 90+ Panerai. He resides in QLD I last heard. His Rolex Submariner "Comex" is something else!

Out of your entire watch collection my favorite is the FEARS watch, I agree, It's stunning, It expresses intelligence, I'm surprised to hear you don't wear it often, I like smaller watches, I won't wear any watch over 36m ... good idea to block inappropriate, homophobic and misogynistic idiots, but trolls give us a break, we're great conversation starters and let's face a simple truth a troll is nothing more than a person with a different opinion to yours ... just saying.

Always mixed feelings with the panerai 944. it does looks amazing, but whoever decided to make a panerai with the famous crown guard with only 30m WR need locking up for insanity. Even if it didn't have the divers crown guard I'd still be dubious but I'm a clumsy bloke and 30m would worry me every time I wore it. For that reason all my watches apart from my Nomos are well over 100m WR. I do like the look though
Yes it’s divisive. Whilst I appreciate the purist view on this, my personal view is, I’m never swimming with it so that doesn’t matter to me. I also understand the clumsiness POV.
