    The smirk on his face the entire time says it all. He feels no remorse, no guilt, nothing. All while ruining families lives. People often time don’t think about the aftermath after the victims are gone. So incredibly heartbreaking. He will never be sorry, genuinely sorry, or feel any kind of guilt for what he has done. He wanted this. Attention. Death. All of it. So horrid and disgusting.

      I don't agree with your assessment. This kid was dealt a hand that he didn't think he could win with. Born to a drug addicted mother we don't know what affect this had on the young man. Your wrong about him not being remorseful. The young man didn't think he deserved a bottle of water. That's remorse if you ask me. I agree but I dont think the families getting to say their victim impact statements to the world is a "waste of time". It is everything but that. I don't think anyone watching is really interested in understanding why this happened because in order to do that, you'd need to acknowledge that it could have been prevented and that Nikolas, though guilty, was failed too. When you fail a person like him, you fail society.
      People are more interested in getting entertainment and feeling like all evil is gone from the world and they move on but the families dont, nikolas doesnt, the victims dont either.
      Most of the comments here are obsessed with revenge.

    • @uggggggghhhhh
      @uggggggghhhhh Год назад +1

      @@lozlolsss7377 Sure but the prosecutors are pursuing the death penalty even when Nikolas already admitted guilt. He asked for a deal to get life in prison but it was denied and so this sentencing phase began. Its really unnecessary. Death or not hes not getting out.

    • @Mister_Tib
      @Mister_Tib Год назад +2

      @@uggggggghhhhh i agree with you , getting to say their victim impact to the world is not a waste of time. i wasn't referring to that , but spending all this time just to decide if they are going to kill him or put him in jail for the rest of his days doesn't make sense to me, it will not solve anything... i do think they are all victims including nikolas cruz...saying that i don't defend what he did, it is beyond horrible, but to prevent this from happening again we need to understand what failed , why no one identified this kid had all those issues and needed psychological help , having also access to all those crazy military guns doesn't help . There are a lot of points to think about to prevent this from happening again , only putting him in jail and throwing away the key or executing him is, to me, a malfunction of the society

    • @uggggggghhhhh
      @uggggggghhhhh Год назад

      @@Mister_Tib Yeah I understand. I think there are people who don't like how much its been dragged out, myself included but Ive seen a lot of comments where for them, its born out of hatred for Nikolas as an individual instead of the system.
      The mentality that we should just lock him in a cell to rot or take him out back and shoot him dead is just so primitive and it solves nothing. It teaches nothing either, only that murder and human torture is good only when they personally agree with it and thats a slipper slope...
      Nikolas made the decision, he isn't legally insane so it is 100% his fault but like you said, he isnt the sole problem. This shooting wasn't the first and it wasn't the last. Instead, we fight with each other while the rich sit back and do nothing, we lose focus on who the real enemy is.
      Even his defense team has been objecting to a lot of the stuff currently being brought up because this phase should be about proving premeditation, that he did it knowing he would be putting others at risk, that it was especially heinous.
      Bringing in a gun specialist, a gun seller, an expert of security camera software, taking the jurors to the school, etc is just redundant. I think the tactic might be to wear the jurors out psychologically

    Waste of time and money why plead guilty if you're going to trial anyway smdh. My heart goes to the families that are left to suffer more while a guilty person gets all this time and attention. Not having to go to the crime scene or face forward as they show all his victims autopsy photos and pay full attention to the impact statements given by the victims families. Always about the defendant never about the victim 🙄. Since it's about the defendant and getting what's a fair and impartial sentence why not let the victims families decide his fate just as he stated when he plead guilty. He was suicidal after the fact and death is only a blessing to him it won't bring his victims back nor will him remaining in prison for life while he still has the attention he wanted and the reason for this horrific tragedy and having everything handed to him. Smdh while those that lost their children struggle thru everyday life make him suffer take everything away from him period so he only has his own thoughts to keep him company. This makes me sick to watch this vial human being be treated so humanely when thats not how he treated all those innocent kids he played God for and made the choice to take their lives from. Deepest Condolences to all those affected by his actions and are made to suffer such a mockery to decide what sentence a guilty man shall get. Only deserve a fair trial if u are presumed innocent until proven guilty not a person who has admitted to guilt it solves nothing nor teaches the person to do such as this monster did a lesson to change if they are treated so fairly js

      @Boston Gal I know that it's not however in my opinion might as well be all this for a life or death sentence when they was seeking the death penalty had he went to a trial to prove guilt js. However thanks for assuming that I didn't know the difference and thank you for educating me had I didn't. Most ppl wouldn't even do that much so I appreciate that u assumed I may not know the difference and replied so I did know if I didn't. Blessings
