The song title doesn't really translate easily - it is 'Metali' or 'Metari' and it is a made up word fusing Metal and Matsuri (festival).
It is another of their fun songs with all the shouts (like wasshoi, dokkoisho, sore etc) that would be called out at Japanese summer festivals encouraging people carrying heavy floats and so on.
This is a great live song - and they get the whole crowd jumping and having a good time every time, just as they did here, with this one.
The song is about a Metal village holding a Metal summer festival.
There is something in the lyrics and in Momometal's Kabuki Theatre part about we are all fools - the fools who dance and the fools who watch - and as we're all here and we're all fools we may as well all dance.

We got another banger for Japanese festival or any festival around, they performed this at the recent World Tour 2023/2024 and getting the crowd going bonkers with this.
The live debut was at Apocrypha - Another One exclusive show prior to the track release, it was fun and totally unexpected, everyone was having a blast and even started with a Kami Band solo after a while without it.
There's a live proshot version at Summer Sonic Festival in Osaka released in the official summer sonic but it's heavily blocked, cool we got this new proshot version without copyright blocked. You'll notice some slight difference between the live and the studio album.
During recent live shows at the Europe Tour you can see MomoMetal saying the second "I said everybody, get low" which btw the first shows playing in Japan and the US Tour 2023 they usually said "sit down".
The song title is Metali!! (metal + matsuri, which is a Japanese festival) and you can hear it in the spoken section when MomoMetal is doing the Kabuki moves style.
Just so you know "wasshoi" is another shout used in Japanese festivals when men are carrying the shrine, similar to sore and soya in Megitsune and Karate. The traditional Japanese instrument you can hear in the beginning is a shamizen, also used in Megitsune.
I can totally see why they pick Tom Morello on this, the groove, the catchiness, the super energetic jump and those typical 90's vibes at funk or alternative metal live concerts.

Good one! Title is a made up word mashing _Metal_ with _Matsuri_ (Festival) to form _Metali,_ a “Metal Festival”. This was released around traditional Japanese Festival season.
Google translate will have a hissy fit with that one haha. This performance is amazing, and one of the first few times we saw a whole new side of Momometal, as she unleashes Momozilla on stage 😂.

Metali is the correct translation. But the concept behind it is abit more complicated. There are Summerfests in Japan, when the men of the village carry Status through the village. They only wear a small loincloth but every men shall be a part of it. In Sus Version there is no reszriction to boy or girl, everybody joins. And this song had also zhe special meaning, to present Momo, their new member. And especially her new capabilities. Since Babymetal learned after their work with electric Callboy, how important Growling can be they now started to call it Momos Fangs.

Yes, song's name is "Metali" (metari) which is the combination of "metaru" (metal) and "matsuri" (traditional Japanese summer festival). So it's a "matsuri" influenced song and it's all about hyping the crowd and inviting them to dance and sing along.
Musically, it's very groovy and funky. I love Su's clean yet aggressive vocals here. Really cool collaboration with Tom Morello who commented this: "I am a big fan of BABYMETAL, a band that is both power rocking and constantly surprising with dizzying musical twists and turns. I've been trying to work with them for some time and when they sent me the demo of 'Metali!!' I knew I could rock that shit like crazy!".
I'm very happy for Momoko on her first song as an official member (this is from 2023 H2) and also for her feature on that kabuki (traditional Japanese theater) style interlude.
About meeting them... it's not that easy. They value their privacy and don't met people outside the bands they play with in concerts and festivals. The only person I've interacted with online that actually met them is Alan from the band and YT channel Dicodec. But it was on a professional duty as a sound engineer for an interview with Fox 5 in NY last year. He vastly explained his experience in a video. And it's cool af. 😁

It's a little difficult to meet any of the BABYMETAL members, unless you're in a band playing at the same festival, or with the media, etc.
Some folks who had a backstage pass for a festival they were at managed to get a photo with the members.
Keanu Reeves was able to meet them.
Not because he's a famous actor, but because he plays bass in the band Dogstar, and they were also performing at Rock am Ring in Germany. : )

The song is actually Metali. I believe from other posts it's a made up word combining metal and festival. But I may be way off. I'm sure one ofr the regulars will be here soon enough to properly explain it
