Tim Henson and Scott Le Page are the guitarists with Texas Prog band Polyphia and they provided the guitar tracks for this song back in 2019. Fox_Fest was the first time they and BABYMETAL had the chance to finally perform it live together.
Cool, I hadn't heard about them.. I still just really missed the KAMI band. They had such awesome personality and I wish they were still playing with them ( minus Mikio of course)

I don't remember following your BM journey but I'm always glad to see more reactors and og BM fans coming back to listen more of this group.
Metal Galaxy is a wonderful album and full of surprises, you're gonna find many more like this with more mature sound, it came out in 2019 so isn't so new but is one of the songs with more mature sound.
This song got the collaboration of Polyphia guitarists, Tim Henson and Scott LePage but only in the solo section and you can listen to it in the album versions. Polyphia got a viral clip when they were performing live and having an issue with the drummer IEM not working and a roadie helped him out in an unorthodox way to save the show, very funny clip.
Tim Henson also said when listening to this song that he would love to play this along with BabyMetal on the stage, he didn't know the final cut when he was doing the riffs on this song. Btw they finally met each other when doing a festival last year and took a pic together but they didn't play together this song yet.
The dance on this song is beautiful and graceful, they're showing another mature side and more complicated choreography. According to MoaMetal is the hardest song to dance along with BxMxC and Night Night Burn iirc.
Song is inspired by certain "City Pop" band and Utada Hikaru songs, when SuMetal heard this she doubt about this being a metal song but then the guitars solo were added and all make senses suddenly.
Finally we got them together on stage and with this awesome live performance, it is their first time performing together.
Along with RATATATA this was definitely one of the highlights at FOX_FEST and a lot of Japanese fans were looking for, I guess that cool slow pace city pop element gives some nostalgia and that's why many fans love it.
In a recent interview, Tim and Scott talked about a new song in their upcoming album along with BM, let's see what they got but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be something real good like this one.
I'm not sure the collab song you were talking about, i guess is BMTH - Kingslayer, maybe METALI!! ft. Tom Morello released last year or even Lil Uzi Vert - The End collab? They also got another collab with F.Hero and Bodyslam released a couple of months ago, either way be my guest and come back with more BM songs.

Must be one of the songs I forgot about. As I said, this video is something different for me because I've never done BABYMETAL reactions before, so there was no journey to follow, just watched each video on my own in the past. I thought about doing BABYMETAL reactions at some point before, but they used to premiere in recent years so sparingly. Maybe one new music video a year. After this year though we're getting more and more so I may as well start, knowing I can continue with a new video every once in a while. I'm gonna try to see them live for the first time this year, at their last show in Anaheim. It definitely is Kingslayer I was referring to. I'm not familiar with them so it should be fun. I'll try to react to that in the future.
I was in the pit at FOX_FEST where they filmed this, and Tim was definitely playing an eight string. Not sure exactly what Scott was playing but it was at least a seven. Most Babymetal songs are written in drop tunings and are written for seven or eight string guitars.

Once I made the connection at the beginning of the video, my brain would not shut up about it, until I made this comment. lol Now I can give your video my full attention.😁👍🏻
Many many many many times, especially when I used to work at a movie theater. Got quite annoying, because I think I look more like his character's look than he actually looks like in real life. Got to disagree on the quality of that show. It was very "teen beat" WB, and much too corny for my tastes. Not far enough back in the day for me.

Got to agree to disagree. Not quite catchy enough to be in my top 10. My favorites are distortion, no more bullying forever(I don't have the means to copy and paste the title in Japanese at the moment on my phone), starlight, road of resistance, headbanger, amore, and more of the older songs,), newer ones though are gaining higher and higher spots in my head though through repeated listens.
@@YodatheHobbit understood. The fact that they can bring so many different styles and genres show their apppeal. Something for everyone.
