Thanks for sharing this Ryan, they're rocking out the Europe Tour and also played this together again at Graspop in Belgium, not sure why they didn't at Pinkpop in Netherlands, hopefully they will do this again.🙏 See you next time 🦊🤘🌅
Finally you have reached this video 😍. Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 I witnessed this artistic play at the venue 2 times in the two-day Fox_Fest. (So two kinds of Tim's wear : with or without sleeve 🤣) What a bliss!! Soothing and exquisite performance by 5 elegant figures in the center 🥲. Classy incorporation by our Kami Band on both sides (4 guitars in total) ❤ Various elements were mixed and sublimed into one beauty by means of something like alchemy. The actual applause at the end of the song was much much much bigger than that recorded in this video. They did it together again in Belgian festival on June 20.
Great reaction. When Polyphia was confirmed on the bill for Fox_Fest (arranged, hosted and headlined by BABYMETAL in Tokyo) we all had a good idea of what would happen. Tim and Scott provided and recorded the guitar tracks for the original recording of the song. Fox_Fest was the first chance they all had to meet up and to finally do this very first live performance with them all together. They played it both nights I believe and they did it again since at Graspop Festival in Belgium (not sure if they repeated it anywhere else yet). It is certainly one of BABYMETAL's more 'chill' songs.
You definitely want to see this song performed in person with a huge live sound setup, a jumbo screen, and ideally with Polyphia. It’s magical because the song makes you feel like they've taken you somewhere you've never been. It finally happened at Fox_Fest. We saw BABYMETAL perform with Polyphia and Electric Callboy live on the same night. It was the most jam-packed BABYMETAL concert I've ever seen. What a lavish experience it was!🤘🦊🤘
In an interview at the Download Festival Tim and Scott said they have another song written for BABYMETAL for the next Polyphia album. They also want the gesture returned by having a song written for them
For as long as I have resisted the whole Babymetal bandwagon, Su does have an incredible voice. There are two genres of music; stuff I like, and stuff I don’t. I like this.
Great reaction. I generally go for a heavier sound... but this is right up there for me when it comes to BABYMETAL. I believe that it is City Pop inspired... so you were bang on. Awesome to finally see them all sharing a stage!! Thank you for the reaction 🦊🤘🔥
⚡ 🍑 💕 / 🌅 Asu ga mata kuru kara. (Tomorrow will come, after all) - This was at FOX_FEST, an event that BABYMETAL hosted in Japan over two nights at Saitama Super Arena (SSA). Polyphia had already peformed their own set earlier that night. They came back on stage during BABYMETAL's set to perform this song. Later on BABYMETAL were joined by Kevin and Nico from Electric Callboy for the world premiere of 'RATATATA'. I'm still a little jealous of the folks who were able to attend. : )
This IS NOT a collaboration, but a Babymetal song featuring Polyphia. Polyphia had no input in the writing of this song. They were sent the tracks and added their solos. This is directly from an interview with Tim years ago...
So called "Fans" like yourself are exactly what turns me off from groups like Babymetal and Lovebites. I wanna like em but the toxic "fans" make me not give a shit. Time to grow up bud.
@@evgrang995 I find your comments extremely annoying. First, Ryan was very positive about Babymetal. 2nd. WTF does what Ryan or anybody else for that matter thinks have anything to do with wether YOU LIKE a band or not? By your own words you've just outed yourself as the poster boy for "toxic fans!"
You realize that Polyphia didn't write this song, only played the solos. This is a Babymetal song in the general style of Polyphia. Babymetal is a chameleon that some people refuse to acknowledge (looking at you, Ryan).
You mentioned this being Polyphia's most poppy sound/song. You should check out their song titled "ABC". Fun song with a vocalist by the name of Sophia Black.

A wonderful, informative comment. Thanks so much for sharing.
I already loved Polyphia.. and with their collaboration with Electric CB.. just makes me appreciate BabyMetal more than I have. Fun one! Thanks 👍😁
Yeah, it's a mashup of both nights from Fox_Fest. I bet the video team were cursing Tim for not wearing the same shirt both nights 😁
I always look forward to your thoughtful informed reactions. Thanks.
Great reaction! Beautiful SU singing and MOA&MOMO Beautiful dancing & Tim Henson and Scott LePage's guitar sounds, amaaaaazing!🎸🦊🎸
👍👍A 🔥🔥collaboration. Su's vocals are dreamy, and the instrumentals are jaw dropping. Great reaction. 🦊 🖖❤
Well shit. That was pretty cool. Polyphia has done some interesting fusion lately so this fits just fine.
There's a whole lotta guitar going on here, doing their best Eagles impersonation. 🤘🎸🎸🎸🎸

it was played both nights as this video has cuts from both. If you look closely Tim sometimes is in a tank top then in a long sleeve lol
@@KenP1973 Yes that's what I said - I hadn't noticed the sleeves before Ryan mentioned it.

What a festival for incredible collabs! Ratatata and Brand New Day. I won't lie, I am big time envious, sigh.

everytime the snap happen, the screen on the back, black out.. something I did't noticed before

And some Babynetal fans thought about not going, because they thought it wouldn't have as much Babymetal. 🙂
👍 👍
Very interesting collab.

" Step by Step"
Love Babymetal but kind of sorry the guitar solos weren't longer…
Yeah, sixteen beats? Would it-particularly in a concert setting been that hard to give 'em 32 beats?

I should have combined my comments, but got a little worked up with Ryan's continual dismissal of Babymetal. Dude is starting to really piss me off!
What are you talking about? This is literally a collaboration. Especially when they perform it live together LOL. Look it up.
So called "Fans" like yourself are exactly what turns me off from groups like Babymetal and Lovebites. I wanna like em but the toxic "fans" make me not give a shit. Time to grow up bud.
If they write the solos, it is, by definition, a collaboration.

Babymetal didn't write the song either. 😂

@@road-runner It's a statement of fact. Does it upset you that they didn't write the song?
@@acornsoda22 Not at all. It's the fact you used it for mocking them, like every hater out there. And it's an old argument, to be honest.

@yolandria I listened to Polyphia pretty extensively on my own.... Not for reactions, so much
