And somehow make it all work. Even though that looked like the finale, 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!!!!' was followed by two more songs at this particular concert. It was part of a five song encore with the live Kami Band. 'Legend 1997' was December 21st, 2013, celebrating Su's 16th Birthday. This song is much more rock 'n' roll than metal for me, but that doesn't hurt my feelings at all. It wasn't until 'Kagerou' that Su got another rocker like this one. There was some concern that they would stop performing the song after the special concerts for Moa's birthday in July, but they brought it back for both Summer Sonic festival appearances last month.

When I saw this video what a year-and-a-half ago I went straight down the foxhole. This band, the musicians, the young ladies/the singers are unbelievably talented. After Judas Priest they are my second most favorite band. Their music makes this old Headbanger feel (fairly) young again. Just subscribed.

They are doing 4 dates in the UK next year, I'm doing all 4 :), They also played here is year @Glastonbury and Brixton Academy, they played in Japan on the saturday then Glastonbury on the sunday. You should react to "Shanti" from Glastonbury, it a bit more of a mordern Babymetal but old school at the same time.
Not much to add, you hit the nail on the head with your kind words. The way they put smiles on everyone's faces is so unique and awesome, I'm totally addicted to them. How could you not love that? In this song I particularly love the crowd participation. BABYMETAL crowds are phenomenal, especially Japanese ones. It's a pity that many of the most fun songs like "Awadama Fever" and "YAVA!" bear a great risk of getting blocked. I really hope you get a chance to go see them in Manchester (I'm Canadian but my mum was from Runcorn :)) I saw them in 2016 (back when I was only 62) and am going to see them again mid October. They were worth standing in line from before 7am. Your assessment is very good - metal that has some light-hearted messages as well as some serious ones but in all that you have a smile on your face at the end.
