Thank you very much for you to reduce the speed of the video. Thank you from the heart Will follow forever Im from Thailand. I love and love the American countryside very much. I want to visit America once in my life if there is a chance. Thank .😘😘😘😍😍😍✌🏽✌🏼✌🏿✌🏻✌🏾
The courthouse and the St. Bernard Catholic Church are beautiful places. It’s weird to see a state highway hacked up like this. Wonder if bridges got swept away by hurricanes, or if there used to be ferries.
Did you check the satellite view on Google Maps and zoom in close? One of the LA 300 closures appeared to be just for a property and the other was an extended closure through a forested section of the bayou.
The first closure is actually a missing section of road, no more than 20 feet long. The second closure can be driven all the way through from what I’ve been told. But you can’t see the road on the satellite view over the second closure because of the canopy of trees. I should have parked and taken a walk on that one.
I never knew until these Louisiana videos that people from the Canary Islands settled this area- - I wonder if there are recordings of their music from the 50s or earlier
I’m sure there are. The Isleños Heritage Museum down there probably sells it on CD. And they have performances by modern artists at the festival every year. It’s a unique kind of music.
Thanks for sharing Jason.
👏👏 very nice
You should interview the locals down there. Would make an interesting video.
A beautiful way to visit Louisiana without worrying about crime rates!😀

I really like unscripted video, it feel like you giving us a personal tour of St. Bernard Parish.
It was harder to record an unscripted video than it is to write a script and read it. I had to do a lot of rewinding and re-recording.
@@504RoadTrips I totally understand, whatever is best for you. I enjoy
Your videos!

I became aware of that courthouse u have featured in the cover photo, b/c of that Keanu Reeves movie “The Whole Truth”!! Good movie.
Haven’t seen that one. I’ll have to check it out.
@@504RoadTrips it’s on Netflix!!

I'm not surprised the state still maintains LA 300, just look at LA 1013 😂
Is 1013 even paved? Not sure how much maintenance there is to do there. But it appears to be a farm-to-market road. So I guess it has a purpose.
@@504RoadTrips No it isn't. 1013 is a gravel road it's entire duration.
Wow. You really got out to the end of the world.
So all videos are voice over. That's cool. You sound professional scripted or not scripted. La 300 is almost vacant.
