  • Today we’re exploring the beautiful and haunting Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris. It’s a rainy
spring day, but that just adds to the atmosphere. Come on, let’s go!
This place is massive, over 110 acres! And it’s the final resting place of some incredibly famous people. Here you will find the grave of Frédéric Chopin, the legendary composer. So many people
come here to pay their respects and just a little further, we have the tomb of Eugène Delacroix, the Romantic painter known for “Liberty Leading the People.” His artwork inspired me for, well, ever! Along with his painting, he was a skillful writer and also hot.
Now, for all you rock fans, the famous grave of Jim Morrison from The Doors is always surrounded by fans and tributes. Though it was surprisingly tucked away amongst the graves.
And lastly, one of the most touching graves here: Héloïse and Abélard, the medieval lovers. People leave metro passes and love letters here as a tribute to their tragic love story. However, one should be careful of what they wish for - I see their love story as a cautionary tale.
