Been to this historic cemetery twice, but never spent enough time and was not organized in my route. Also, my religious friend did not feel comfortable site-seeing in a cemetery, no matter how beautiful and we cut our visit short. This walking video, on such a beautiful sunny day, is about as good as going there, and i appreciate it as I know I am not going back to Paris again. Thank you so much!
It was wonderful to stumble across this video in August 2023! I felt as though I was walking around the paths with the people in the video. The last time that I visited was January 2013, and it was a cold and quiet day. The Holocaust Memorial has stayed with me - such an evocation of suffering and salvation. Thank you for this tour!
This is a very unique and intriguing cemetery. I was hoping part of it would be like the movie version of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera. The movie cemetery took my breath away. Since it was supposedly based on this cemetery, I was hoping thatbpart of it might actually look like the movie version. Even though it doesn't, this is a very beautiful cemetery.
