Ben, was wondering if you have a bucket list of lawns to see? Sport stadiums, golf courses? Augusta must be up there.

    • @LawnTips

Augusta for sure mate! Then I'd love to go to a few other huge golf courses in the states plus Anfield in Liverpool.

I just had a new home built a few months ago during the winter and it’s been snow since and this will be my first summer taking care of my lawn since I grew up in apartments. I just don’t want to have a crappy looking lawn in the neighborhood especially since I’m a rookie never even mowed before haha snow is melting and I’m starting to see grass

Have you ever tried/heard of using Barricade in garden beds or gravel paths? We've had a butt load of weeds punch up through the last week or so. Through weed mat too!
Also awesome vid mate, this answered a question I had about throwing down some Barricade before overseeding my QLD blue with some annual rye. So I won't be doing that! I reckon I'll deal with the winter weeds by hand/spray and then Barricade beginning of Spring.

Barricade should go under mulch, it probably won’t go through the weed mat very well...I ripped out my weed mat, seemed to do more harm than good stopping some water and letting through weeds!

I've heard of some people using it in garden beds and having issues. Only because it can damage shallow rooted plants like roses etc. As for gravel paths I've used it before and it works great. Just breaks down quicker because of the heat.

If you had to choose between sprayers solo 441 or 417 which way would you go?
I have seen you use both and I'm currently deciding between the 2. The 441 would mean 5 tank fulls for my area and 4 for 417 probably judging by the 10 litre version I currently use which takes 7 tank fulls 700 square meters. But if the 441 is better to use then that might be the go and most of the time I won't do the whole yard at once anyway.
