Kudos for the video ..I was able to get my water damaged Ideapad5 using the steps in the video. Water had got into the IO to MB connectors and cable. Cleaning them up with isoprop grub and having patience fixed it.

The problem with water damage is that some water might sit in a connector or under a chip then, once it powers on, pops the chip out or short out the connector.
