I am a former Navy diver and I love this watch. Sapphire shatters and mineral scratches or cracks but saves the watch. You can always change out the mineral glass if and when needed.
Not under pressure it won't. Regardless of crystal type if it is compromised under pressure it is no longer a tool to be used safely for diving until repaired. Sapphire is better for day to day use, and honestly I've never seen a diver actually use a dive watch when they have computers that do far more. Mineral is a downgrade price willing.
I have the previous version of this watch and wear it 5 days a week as my work watch, while working on my farm in rural Australia. It's been through everything, dust storms, snow, hail, mud, scorching heat etc. It's been dunked in a dam, dropped on the ground and banged against door frames. It's never missed a beat, still looks great and is extreamly comfortable, (I wear it on a bond NATO) I'm going to buy a couple more in different colours because I love it so much.
Thanks for reviewing this one, I've used your link and purchased one in black, got it for £19.16 Inc taxes etc. Also ordered a digital vernier caliper tool, it'll help with getting the correct size straps 😂
Today I recieved mine, i was Blown away of the quality of the lume, finish and the dial. I must say that the kermit color has become a favorite. Best 32 bucks I have ever spent 😂
Another well done, thorough review of a watch that many may overlook because it's quartz. That would be a mistake. This is a great looking, rugged watch that you can wear anytime, anywhere without worry. Just want to mention that my watch's bezel is rock solid, with no play at all. Must be a bit hit or miss. I don't worry too much about mineral crystal, most of my other watches have this type of crystal and even after working on my car, moving furniture or yard work, the crystals are in great shape. Easily the equal of my Invicta Pro Diver quartz for about two-thirds the price.
Great video. Mine (all black) arrived today. I bought it to be a beater (a friend of mine purposedly put his under a river waterfall and got no water inside even subject to that amount of preasure). VERY happy with the purchase (U$ 32.00, taxes included)! Incredible value for money (plus: no back play from the bezel here; just tight!). One thing, though (a personal issue tbh): for my small 7 in. wrist I've been finding 40mm cases actually a bit small for my taste, because despite the 7 in. measure as I've been lifting weights for the past few years my forearms developed and now their size is increased (they got bigger coming from the wrist towards the elbow). The result is when I see the whole picture (fist, wrist and forearm) a 40mm case looks almost small to me. My Pagani Design PD-1736 (43mm case - 47mm with crown) does feel/look more adequate, aesthetically speeking. But again: it's not at all addiesdive My-H3's fault. Even my wife asked me why I put on such a tinny watch when I recently wore a Classic Dream 38mm Tissot dress watch that was "forgotten" in my drawer. It seems the 40mm cases are borderline to me now...
Got the automatic version of this with Sapphire, AR coating, 316L steel etc etc......absolutely love it......also got the AD2040 in Red which is my every day watch... changed the strap though to a black and red as didn't like the full red one
Fantastic review style, kept me engaged throughout. Just purchased this model Addiesdive and waiting on it in the mail now looks likes its going to be a satisfying purchase, i LOVE Addiesdive, insanely good watches. Liked, subscribed. cheers
I've looked for information regarding the Miyota 2115 movement, but other than it seems reliable and that it's "less expensive," there's not much to be found regarding quality. The movement hacks and allows setting of the date, and has a screw-down crown that when pushed against the case moves the second hand a second or two. The movement takes a SR626SW replacement battery, which lasts approximately three years. Other than the foregoing the movement is a 0 jewels quartz movement with no moving parts and accurate to app. +/- 2 seconds per month. That's about it.
Thanks for the great review! I have a few of these, and the value for the money is off the charts…added bonus is the occasional compliment on how nice my Rollie is…😊
Great bang for buck here..own a blue earlier and a kermit new version..swam in the sea and pools with both..on the blue version most of the bezel markers and lume pip fell off..the kermit holds well..the colors of both dials are beautiful..great beaters
Hy is this best value for money than steeldive quartz, ( 99€)?? Or do you believe that i should go for the steeldive 1953 automatic 99€ , a bit to expensive compared to this, does it worth only for being automatic and a litle bit better specs??
Hi Gand 👋 I think you've got a bit of a dilemma.. considering Steeldive and Addiesdive are head to head competition, the 1953 auto is a great watch. Not sure about the €99, I pasted the best price in the description of the video for your reference (€75). In regards to the reviewed piece, €27, some shortcuts had to be made. The auto always has more street cred though. Let me know what you ended up buying😊 s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DdTMWQ3
I like more of the steeldive 1953 but my super question is ,if that difference in price is justifyable?? Maibe i should wait till 11.11 sales to make my decision and see many reviews i can. Best regards ❤
Miyota 2115, same quality Quartz movement as both my go to weekend watches. The Casio Tiffany Blue often on my wrist and Duro. 👌🏼 Big fan of the Casio and Citizen, who also happens to own Miyota. Between Eco-Drive and 2035/2115 movements I’m set. Sweet Steeldive watch, I won’t have Rolex Sub money for a few years at least, and even when I do own one, and have my grails I’ll still wear this and a Pagani Speedy on the daily.

Thanks for the insightful feedback 👍
@weswatches
@micheal thanks for the feedback!
how is the crystal holding up?
Not under pressure it won't. Regardless of crystal type if it is compromised under pressure it is no longer a tool to be used safely for diving until repaired. Sapphire is better for day to day use, and honestly I've never seen a diver actually use a dive watch when they have computers that do far more. Mineral is a downgrade price willing.
@@Asterngeishabut I think the divers like using their watches during their activities

Thx for your feedback 👍 I doubt any other watch can withstand that 😆
@weswatches maybe my g-shock would give it run for its money. But I hardly ever wear it LOL
Good testimonial.

🥳 Congrats!
Another watch i bought maybe 2 yrs ago. Unbeliebable quality and such a great homage the Rolex .

Hello what size case back opener would I need?
Fantastic review style, kept me engaged throughout. Just purchased this model Addiesdive and waiting on it in the mail now looks likes its going to be a satisfying purchase, i LOVE Addiesdive, insanely good watches.

Thanks Soaring😊 Addiesdive is definitely doing well. Their quality is getting better and better

What will you use to open this case back?
I know there is a ball for this type of case back
But is there a better tool ?
Thx for the video. Just ordered this nice piece of watch for 27 euro inkl shipping 😊
Nice one 👍
I have two, they are great value watches. Lume is good. I wouldn't say the bracelet is the best, but on other straps it really works well.
Totally agree
