I bought this Addiesdive for €29 and it has made me question the whole watch industry. If a watch can be that well made for €29 wtf are we paying 000's for??
great review. i have the addie yachtmaster. paid 35 euro. keeps amazing time so far. good tight screwdown crown. i don't understand how old style mechanical watches still exist. imagine trying to sell a vhs player for 500 times the cost of a dvd player. the only explanation is wealth display.
Comparing an addiesdive which is 40$ on sale to a genuine Yachtmaster is insane 😂😂 But I love it. I like the addiesdive and own it myself, but I also like the yachtmaster references. Your video takes a look on the philosophy behind buying an expensive watch, but I'd like to see a more in detail comparison between the two. Polishing, dial printing, macro view of the bezel, lume, etc. The lume for example is quite strong and can be compared to the Rolex. But great video 👍
I really enjoyed the deep philiosophical nature of this video. If i had the money I'd of course buy a Rolex AND the Addiesdive. In reality I just wear a Citizen
I Have Addiesdive submariner Quartz and i very very happy my dreams rolex submariner... But i love movemant Quart And yess i have my dream watch Addiesdive submariner quart🎉🎉🎉
A watch is for timekeeping. So the addiesdive wins here. And imho it requires much more (industrial) engineering skills to be able to build a good watch for a sales price of USD 80 (even as low as USD 40) compared to a Rolex of USD 11K..Just saying.
I would never buy a watch for 11k, but also never buy an homage watch. Still, if you give me ultimatum to either buy 1 rolex to be my only watch for the rest of my life or 137.5 80$ homages, I pick rolex
