- Peplum Shirt Top | A Refashion Project. This diy refashioning of couple old shirts into an amazing peplum top is an easy project for beginners.
I demonstrate how to cut the shirts to create the peplum section of the top, I also share how to sew gathers and serge/overlock the raw edge for a clean and neat finish to the inside of the top. It really is a simple and easy sewing project that can be completed within an hour.

I like this type of tutorial and recycling garments. The leftover shirt, I would joint the bottom part with lace material of the same colour or black, just to cover until the hip line. And may be do the same with the sleeve, cut the same length with the top shirt, then joint the lace at the bottom.

I'm from Nigeria and I love prints, thus, I'll suggest you sew on a bright coloured print fabric or checked print to the other cutout top and maybe some sleeve or pocket details.

Maybe add lace to the bottom of the left over shirt. May add some lace to the sleeve also.
