DIY Refashion Men's Shirt

I have recycle an old men shirt in this sewing video tutorial, by adding lace using the appliqué method to the collar, pockets and the cuffs of the sleeves to add a feminine touch to the top.
The other technique I also added to the shirt is an “elastic insertion”, to the hemline to bring it closer to my body. There is a link to this video technique below

Hi. How did you sew the lace to the pockets?

I cut the lace the same size as the pocket - placed the lace onto the pocket, pinned it into place and stitched through all thicknesses the lace, pocket and shirt. Thank you for commenting Like2Sew.
