Hi Micarah, I don't know if you read comments, but if you do, I have some sort of hack for turning those straps inside out: before the pinning and sewing, I lay some sort of string inside the fold, and sew the end of the string to one of the outer ends of the strap. When you're done, you just pull on the string, and the other end with it, et voilà, the strap is outside out :)
Bunch of people were saying the rapture would be September 23, 2017 because a planetary alignment was the Revelation 12 sign. Some even sold their possessions and quit their jobs they truly believed it so strongly. So i was kind of freaked about it, and that was my mother's birthday. But my mother died the next day and I've never been the same since. It was too sudden and cruel the way she was, well expired and how she was treated immediately after by my sister, who laughed while she died.
wenuhan at my senior prom this girl wore what was basically a bikini crossed with a dress. It was hot pink. She had huge boobs and the top of her dress had less fabric than the two black triangles in this video.
I watched this a year ago and started teaching myself how to sew and I’ve made the wrap shirt but now I actually feel like I can make the dress without having a mental breakdown. Thanks Micarah for the entertainment and inspiration!
There are so many of them nowadays! - Bernadette Banner - Rachel Maksy - Morgan Donner - Juul Thijssen - Karolina Zebrowska - American Duchess - Enchanted Rose Costumes - Lee-am - Bella Maes Designs And so much more the list can go on and on and oooooooon. Let me know if you find any you like :)
If I ever need a project done in drawing or studying I literally pretend your narrating the instructions to me in my head and that gets me through the 10 minutes of trying before giving up and procrastinating
Cute video! I was looking for a wrap dress 6 months ago when I had my baby and was trying to find something I could nurse him in for his baptism. This would've been perfect especially for a postpartum belly. Genius!
Had my babies in the 90's but found a place, catalog, I could order nursing clothing from, like with hidden slits in the front so you could feed without pulling your shirt up or down (unless milk shoots everywhere or baby drools or spits up. They even had loose fitting dresses. I didn't have any waist postpartum, for awhile
I'm an older woman, but I still want a wrap top. With high waisted jeans back in fashion (please let them stay!) this would be an ideal top to pair with them. Thanks for the tutorial!
decided to make this today and even though I'm a complete beginner it turned out amazing! I'll admit, there were points where I thought "are you sure about this Micarah?", but you never led me astray!
3:35 I would have loved to see you make a Regency era dress. That would be so fascinating. I don't know a lot about historical dresses but I do like the way they look. Especially if they look like they're from a Jane Austen book.
She did make a regency dress! She made a few regency dresses with her friend Courtney. I NEED to make myself one because I would literally wear it everyday probably
Hi newbie sewer/subscriber/fellow animal lover here just wanted to say that i've been binge watching all of your videos since 12:30am when I discovered the first one. It is now 1pm and I am thoroughly questioning my productivity as there are plenty of things I should be doing instead. Alas on to the next video...thank you for doing what you do
Yassss making one of these for my drag closet , so glad I looked in your channel , I figured if anyone has made a tshirt dress it is this lady. Thanks for posting this and hope you are doing well and are safe.
A real nice project from a big-size T-shirt. Very feminine. At the end, we also see that you are very pretty. Keep on with your projects and thank you.
I want to wish you a happy new year!! I just saw you talking in church about Kenya and being a missionary on another channel. Makes me love you even more ❤️
I didn't think I'd find anyone like me. 1 who has little to no sense of mathematical measurement but creates & alters clothing frequently. Her videos even match up with my vicious adhd. 🌿Thank you XOXOX
I never laugh watching a tutorial video or enjoy a low quality/resolution videos or both. And your videos broke all my protocols above. Subscribed!!!💃🏻
BM Family Sewing oh hey I hope you didn’t misunderstand my comment! I was trying to compliment her by saying that not only is she helpful with sewing tips, she delivers them in a really funny and engaging way!
omg I just find your channel and you're absolutely adorable! I'm interested in sewing but I'm still a beginner. This is so helpful! Keep being you, gorgeous!
What is formidable with your video is that it goes quick. Some French videos (I am French) as sooooooh slow that it gets on my nerves watching. Thank you for this. Very much. Though at high pace, it is very clear. By the way : you have beautiful arms and hands (like I had when young, hee, hee ! Long and slim)...
Just wanna say I love that used to black shirt because I’ve been revamping shirts, and I specifically looked up black men’s T-shirt restored or transformed. So I absolutely like that you don’t use measurements because my sewing method is very raw or fly by the seat of your pants. No measurements. If that makes sense all that to say I love your video you’re super cute thank you.
I would've chosen the Regency Dress!!!!! I would adore if you'd show how to make a simple sheer, white layered muslin gown for day. And, how add/make/use different ribbons/sashes/belt/collars/embroidered plackets, and all manner of other notions, so that we could get more mileage out of it, and make people think it was more than one dress.
This comment is very helpful! I just wish I would’ve seen it earlier this week! I’ll have a regency video up soon ( hopefully this week, if i get enough time to edit) and hopefully it’s to your liking. :)
Are you kidding?! Wow! Oh yes. I'm giddy!!!! =) I'm so thrilled. (to self) "Okay, calm down". I'm just so happy. You're so talented. Please don't worry on my behalf. You cannot know how long I've dreamed of having a Regency era gown, it's seemed overwhelming. I'm sure I'll love it, because I'll learn a lot no matter what. You're videos help me feel far more confident, more natural about and less afraid of sewing. I'm usually totally hospital corners. I like your approach. You've shown me that I can be more intuitive ;) I've checked the bell. I hope you have a blast making it, and please don't rush. It's lovely to wait for something joyful...
I've always just watched your videos and found them hilarious now I'm trying to make this and OMG it is so frustrating trying to follow your directions
When you were done filming, I was waiting to hear you say, "That's a wrap!"
Ah, what a wasted opportunity!
I should hire you
Just watched this, and was so hoping someone had commented that
LOL
The opportunity might be wasted, but not the t shirt that is saved and recycled!
Micarah: A centi...
Me: Omg she's gonna use an actual measurement!
Micarah: A centipede's width
Me: ShOok

I just want you to know that you make me laugh every time I watch one of your videos and your brighten my day!

Probably my favorite narration of any RUclips video I've ever seen.
I'm making this today and I am going to mess up I can feel it
Update no mistakes were made
How does it look?!?!
@@grainne9981 it turned out really good! I do have to pin the neckline so it doesn't go too low but other than that it's one of my favorite shirts!
Good job!

Dude the bikini parts on mine liek yk ‘bikiniparts’ the scraps thingy was too small nd yeet
it's been a while since i've heard a good rapture joke and this made my night!
I'm so pleased!
Especially when you have really Christian parents and you're quarantining with them
