Not extra comfortable, but secure. Now I need just the one panties and I am putting towel under me for just what if :) (If you ever couldn´t have your choice for some reason.)

As someone who used to work at a goodwill in a retirement community-ish city, the diapers end up in thrift stores because old people die and their spouse or child donates everything that wasn't nailed down in their house. Sometimes including the ashes of that old person.
I had a feeling this was the case... the ashes tho... that is cold AF

I remember that one Christmas my team at work decided to make some donation. We contacted social house for elderly people and asked what they need. They needed adult diapers, a lot. I have very mixed feelings watching this video, knowing that there are places that really need those diapers for their patients. It's so wasteful...

Fun fact: I was in the hospital for leg surgery when frozen came out. So I was recovering and me and my mom were watching frozen on dvd. I had just gotten a catheter (pee tube) removed and they were trying to make me do to the bathroom, or they would have to put it back in. It’s an old one and she looked for months before finding a suitable and affordable one.

This is wild because I was actually working retail this past Christmas. A belated thank you for the well wishes!
It’s kinda sad actually - when people pass away, a lot of their stuff gets given to thrift stores - those who have cared for an elderly relative are often left with a surplus of adult diapers. They donate them because you can’t return them.
Also adult diapers are very expensive. It seems weird but finding stuff like that in thrift stores is legit helpful. Being disabled or old is expensive as heck and not very lucrative.

I'm not sure if diapers can be added to insurance costs or care costs in hospitals or care homes but for people who are just out and about living their lives, it's an out-of-pocket cost.

So most people are embarrassed to shop for them in stores and for some that need them there insurance will pay for so they get them delivered. Well the companies that deliver tend to deliver way more than what is needed so they end up with a stock pile of them. Well when the patient no longer needs them they get donated because throwing them out is a waist of resources and it's against the law to resell them so the horded left overs end up at the goodwill. Reason why there are so many adult diapers is that families donate them after their family member passes away. In UK here the council will give an old person the Diapers and when they die , the family has no use for them so they donate them.
