Check the ground connections while your in there, I was getting intermittent airbag codes ”resistens too high” turned out to be just a loose ground connector on the airbag.
If I swap the old airbag with a new one will I get a code ?
Hi. Which connector are you referring to? I am having similar issues
@@christospapazacharias8523 it’s the little braided cooper wire, the crimp connector on mine was super loose.
Really pleased with the new camera and microphone. I really hope you notice some difference at least in the sound quality because now I use external mic!

Pretty pleased with the sport steering wheel and unfortunately is not possible to get heated option for it. But if I change for another later on I may consider it.

Hi, my steering wheel seems squeaking every now and again in a facelift w212, I sprayed wd40 inside without removing actual steering wheel and it stopped for a few days. Now annoying sound is sometimes back - have you come across something like that before?

Nice video. Just prepare to explain to the next car buyer why you have holes on the steering wheel - will think that you had an accident with a blown air bag.
That’s the downside doing this, the holes has to be made, but don’t think many buyers would even look behind the steering wheel, and in my case I got video proof why I removed it ; )
Ya wonder what the dealership does when they have to remove the wheel for stuff. I'm replacing my buttons tomorrow and am going to slit the spots with an axacto knife real carefully so it doesn't look all crappy.
