- Straight forward replacement of a worn out steering wheel emblem, applicable to most Mercedes’ airbag emblems.

Literally have been driving my AMG around the whole time with the ugly emblem! THANK YOU! made no sense for me to change the whole airbag just for an emblem!

Thanks, those are one of the main reasons I bought the car, something different. However they were painted aftermarket (not original mercedes)

I don't know if "unpacking" the airbag for cosmetic reasons is smart.. i mean the cushion is folded in special way to unfold later.. now it is not any more
The cushion was not touched or unpacked, it stays packed as factory intends it to be as you can see in the video. When ordering a new or replacement airbag that is exactly how they come

Yes you can easily remove the superglue as it is only on a few tabs, tell me more about your C63? Year, modifications?

I found a replacement emblem on Amazon, and was able to successfully replace without any issues. Thanks.

Always glad to help, sadly the stock badge doesn’t add any Hp, but if you get the brabus badge it should add around 15hp

What’s the size of emblem? 57mm?
Hi Diego, the outer diameter is 52mm, I made that mistake initially as well and ordered the 57 which did not fit. you can find a few 52mm ones on ebay.

Dude them clips are a btch. The ones to actually remove the back. Ive got all the clips lifted but still cant pull it apart

We just pop the old one out and put the new one in.
