@@ChavaBautista Yeah, faster, more tunable, more reliable. The E63 handles better, it also sounds better but is less raw.
Definitely a nice ride. I know a lot more about the w212, and those things can be money pits if you don't play your cards right. Of course, you're going to want to go in understanding that maintaining an amg is expensive no matter how you go about it. To the folks at home watching, I'd make sure I have a pretty decent day job before putting all your chips in the middle on one of these things. Don't be fooled by the relatively low price. Maintenance is the thing that'll getcha.

No such thing as a cheap E63. You pay up front or you pay at the maintenance window. I always recommend that you buy the best you can afford to save money done the road.
this car is an absolute beauty and a gem, but id never want to own this, nor would i be happy for anyone else who owns this kind of car as anything other than that car you take out for super special occasions once or twice a year. 23k in maintenance couldve bought a whole mk7 GTI, and if youre lucky you could even get the Autobahn trim

I agree, I watch a lot of videos on these even ones with bad history. He might’ve been one who bought a bad one. He’s also probably a true car guy so most of that is stuff I’m positive he didn’t “have” to fix.

Doing P.M.'s and minor maintenance makes you a diesel technician, not "mechanic". Certified mechanics can tear down and rebuild motors.

Just spent $6 grand on my 2016 BMW 550 M sport on injectors, spark plugs.. etc… yea German V8’s man. Ugh. Was able to get a loan for all the work thank God lol.

From the sound of it, they’re probably charging more for the price of maintenance they threw into it. Taking it to a mechanic & that maintenance list will tell you everything.
