Suman Bhattacharjee, don't even pay attention to all these nasty comments. You're explanation was brilliant, don't stop making videos! You made me understand the action of CDKs + cyclins so THANK YOU! KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK and forget about all these idiots!
My biology teacher showed the class this video for us to better understand the cell cycle. It greatly helped. She also stated that this was one of the most concise videos she's seen explaining such a complex topic. Thanks! :)
oo dhonobaad bondhu ... tumi ekjon valo manush .. lol i dont know if it is correct im spanish speaker but i have some friends from bangladesh God bless u men thank u again !
cyclin B is bind to Cdc2 is then Phosphorylated on thr-161(Cdc2 active). Activated Cdc2 perform two function First it initiate the events Of M phase ,Second it trigger to degradation of Cyclin -B Activation of MPF(Cdc2/Cyclin-B complex) by Dephosphorylation on try-15 and thre-14(inhibits cdc2 activity, and Activate MPF) Activated MPF G2---------> M transition . End of mitosis by Proteolytic action degradation of Cyclin B
A number of potentially fatal human diseases like cancer involve cell cycle defects. Cell cycle control is regulated by an evolutionarily conserved family of serine/threonine protein kinases called cyclin-dependent kinases (Cdks) and their regulatory subunits, the cyclins. Critical cell cycle events are both positively and negatively regulated by specific Cdks, whose activities oscillate throughout the cell cycle. Cdk activities are controlled by several different mechanisms, including binding of the positively activating cyclin subunits, inhibition by Cdk inhibitor proteins, phosphorylation by Cdk activating kinases (CAKs) or inhibitory kinases, and dephosphorylation by cell-cycle regulated phosphatases. -Creative BioMart
Yah...i thought so...if u hv tym cn u plz make a video or smthng abt the evolution of heart and aortic arches....or kidney nd urinogenital ducts....cuz thtl be a gr8 help fr mny ppl....btw i thnk ur dng a gr8 job fr bio ppl...:-)
Thank you so much for this video, totally saved my exam! Perhaps a little tip, try talking slower in your next video. It was kind of hard to follow whenever become enthusiastic ;-)
English is not my mother languege so it is hard to understand this accent . I added subcribe english and 2:58 ''pigs eat my deuces'' WHAT THE HELLLL???
If you think his accent is bad then you'll have a hell of a time with university and graduate level professors. This guy is native speaker compared to some I've had where they literally needed a translator at times.

+Kieran J Maybe that's cause you don't know much about biology? Or perhaps your English isn't that great?
Please work on your english. While I work on the cell cycle.
you are mean, but I agree.
well that's kind of retarded.. and racist.. not sure how it's going to help you learn cell cycle

I also understood everything. Not all English speakers are American/British/Australian. Accents are fine.
