Thanks for the video buddy... I installed the same lights on my 2009 citisport, but I just turned the bracket the opposite way around... Used a pliers to open the lip on the bracket and forced the lights into it, then used silicone to just hold it properly

But now my problem is, where do i connect the wire for the park to run as a DRL, its connected as normal parks right now, but when you indicate...the ring is not turning the white light completely off, its still white plus a bit of orange
Hi Chris. That you looking at is a filter for 32/36 weber carburetor it is not a std vw carburetor. Black filter is just a breather for your tappit cover.
Hi reenash these lights are really daylight compared to vw factory std lights. If you buy the jeep lights make sure it is the expensive ones they have 3 leds cheap brand only 2 leds. I can make a video of the brightness if you want!!!
how it the light at night? it would be waste of money if the light is not good enough, I replaced one the of headlight, bought brand new hella from midas and the glass fell of somewhere just after sometime and the old one still works fine, which specific light you bought from takealot because there too many options.
@@ritchiesridemk1vwbuild853 can you perhaps make a short of where the DRL is controlled to please. I think you can connect it to the second plug in which is control by the dim switch. But I want to see where your one is wired and how it is controled( switch or knob)
Hi there. If your lights don't fit I have no idea why. Facebook market place sell brackets for 1300 rand for the jeep lights to fit on mk1. Hope it helps.
@@theoneandonlyJC use original hella lights as they come ith the brackets, break the glass of the light completely, use silicon or glue, what ever contact bond you trust to glue the light in, it fits perfectly 20mins u will be done

Did you add a relay when connecting you wires or did you just connect it directly to your existing wires ( Plug&play)...?!

Hi Bradley. No it does not come in different watts. Brightness yes cheap ones is 450 rand only have two led's expensive ones 950 has 3 led lights.

Hi there. I did make a video of the jeep light what it looks like at night. Knock of brands is 450 rand I paid 900 expensive but brilliant.

How heavy are your golf on petrol....? I'm thinking of going weber....
It's not bad but can become heavy on fuel putting your foot down all the time. Weber is a good carburetor will get power gains too.

Hi Ethan. It's not a std vw carburetor. I have a 32/36 weber carburetor that is why my air filter looks like that.

Hi keneilwe, if your jeep lights switch off, you have to go with a heavy-duty relay for your lights to work!!!
