    Hello what do I do if the connectors for the small lights refuse to connect all the way?

      @@tickythedeejay635 I would say, Start by giving them a good clean and make sure there is no obstruction inside the connector

    Great video and nice car, I've got a 2006 1.4i and I'm tuning it up now. I'm getting some halo lights and crystals for the brights. I'll be going with the orange crystal indicators as the white ones look a bit weird to me but if you like you like yours then great. At the end of the day you it's your car for you to enjoy.

    Lovely car, is it a cabrio I can’t tell? Just bought some new bulbs for mine, the full beam is like lighting two candles and hoping they don’t blow out whilst driving

      Hi.
      Not a cabrio no. Just a trusty ol CITI 14i .
      Fresh lights and bulbs make the worlds difference 👌

    Hi. nice vid. need some advice please. just bought led indicators for my citi golf. is there anything that holds the indicator base in place? or do they just slide in and out? also. I see the led set has 3 wires each. Im guessing the third wire is for the white leds in every second row? where do you wire that up to?

      @@shaunmeyer6004 Hi. Mine just slid in and screwed onto a screw based mount.
      Wiring is definitely not my forte but have a look at what wiring is powering your current lights and wire it up accordingly or your LED set should come with instructions.

    Thanks for the video. New to the car diy vibe. Does one need to set the lights (height, etc)?

    • @martinweizenacker7129
      @martinweizenacker7129 5 месяцев назад

      Yes, absolutely. Have them set, it's a 5 minutes job at a workshop. The headlight beam setter they have costs a few thousands. You can never do it as good at home.

      @@leaveiljarvis570 Hi. Yes. Very easy to set on your own. You will just need the correct screwdriver and park your car on level ground facing a wall or garage door to help gauge the lights beem heights.

      Hi Peter.
      It was a bit of a mission but managed to find left side and right side at different places.
      Two different Goldwagen stores for the OEM spots and I got the headlights at Ready auto parts.
      Happy hunting
