Hello, thanks to this video ive done this exact install, i have a question about the indicators part of the headlight, how do you stop them from flashing so fast?
You’ll need a set of led indicator resistors. They’re about £10 on eBay and they stop them flashing like mad
@@BarnClubCars thanks! After much research i found a pair, 8ohm 25 watt, set them up in parallel, one for each ring and it works great

Hi mate, any updated links? The brackets seem to be twice the price of the lights these days?
Or would you recommend another way of mounting them (that you can still adjust the beam) now that you've seen how it worked before? Any bother with MOT? Even though MOTs are only pretend ones in England anyway, they send them over by post to Ireland 🤣🤣

Do you have any MOT issues with these? And how's the visibility at night?
I've just ordered a set
No problem with the mot. There is loads of Landrovers with these fitted so you shouldn’t have a problem. At night they’re great, I added a wiring upgrade kit to get 12v to the lights and they’re spot on.
Does this also work on the mk2 polo?
I want to change my 2009 model ford ranger headlight to 2020 model headlight
how easy is it too connect the headlights wiring etc, looking todo this to my mk2
Yes the lights had a h4 fitting which is the same as a standard mk2 bulb

do the halo headlights have indicators fitted into it in the ring?
Yes the do but we didn’t have time to wire them up. We’ll be putting a set on the track car this year so we’ll do it on that one.

Nice job but this doesnt look cool on that old school icon like Golf mk2 is. It looks way too artificial or piece of a new age crap. I bet it works better 5 times and safer to use but people who deal with theese cars are simply fans and lovers of fine tunning and style.

You don't actually say how well they perform at NIGHT compared to the original Golf lights. That's the most important thing.
