Recently fitted mk3 aircon to mine, you may need to rethink the heater blower and evaporator mounting, the expansion valve housing needs to poke through the bulkhead and have a metal box made up, this lets heater fan opening line up with the hole, but more importantly will reduce how much it pokes out of the dash . If you have a mk2 ac parcel tray you can see the bump that wraps around the blower fan which will only work if the intake for the blower lines up in the scuttle panel.

Get some rust treatment on that rear exhaust hanger. It doesn’t look too bad at the moment. But they do like to rot!

Nice to see how to fit in an aircon. Keep in mind that the with of the wheels of a mk3 is a bit wider than a mk2. You can see it in the difference of the lower control arms and the anti roll bar as well as the drive shafts.

just a quick one, what are the signs that it is the diaphragm. like can you visually see it’s faulty or is it internally split? also would this cause an intermittent underbody fault?

Just replace the MAP sensor. I did it myself today and the car revived.

FYI I had this code ( '14 jetta 1.8 tsi) and a very surprising fix, I'd get p29900 and epc with heavy throttle, especially under load. Acceleration was weak and turbo had leak test showing no leak no acuator issue. Was going to try to replace Diverter valve as last idea. I replaced all my sensors but the CRANKSHAFT SENSOR. I swapped it for a new one since I already had the car on stnads not thinking it would affect much and seems to have completely fixed it. Back to normal accerlation, no EPC or codes even if I redline, and the weird noise with heavy throttle before that sounded like boost leak or tubro issue seems to be gone. If you haven't tried Crankshaft sensor or you have stock sensor and higher mileage could be WELL worth a new sensor! 2014 jetta 1.8 tsi, 150k mi

As the other guy said that plate is probably worth selling separately, 6 digit plates that say gtr seem to be listed for 900-2000 on swift reg so even if you can get near the low end of that I’d say it’s worth it
