Not for me - it looks cheap in black and black Milanese mesh bracelets always look tacky. Could be the lighting but the reflections off that crystal are just overwhelming. Get a Chinese watch with Seiko NH34 movement, sapphire crystal, better build quality and save yourself at least $200.

Japanese watches, particularly those featuring Seiko movements, are often considered superior to Chinese watches for several reasons. Here’s why:
      ### 1. **Heritage and Craftsmanship**
      - **Seiko’s Legacy**: Founded in 1881, Seiko is a pioneer in watchmaking, renowned for its innovation, precision, and durability.
      - Japanese watchmakers prioritize tradition and craftsmanship, often hand-assembling parts for superior quality control.
      ### 2. **Movement Reliability**
      - **Seiko Movements**: Seiko produces some of the most accurate and durable movements, like the **4R, 6R, and Spring Drive**. These are praised for their longevity, precision, and smooth performance.
      - Japanese quartz movements, pioneered by Seiko, revolutionized the industry with unparalleled accuracy.
      ### 3. **Innovation and Technology**
      - Seiko is behind innovations like the **Quartz Revolution** and **Spring Drive technology**, blending mechanical and quartz precision.
      - Japanese brands invest in continuous R&D to stay ahead in both design and technical advancements.
      ### 4. **Durability and Build Quality**
      - Seiko watches, and Japanese brands in general, are built to last, with robust materials and high water resistance.
      - Many models are designed to handle harsh conditions, appealing to adventurers and professionals alike.
      ### 5. **Quality Control**
      - Japanese manufacturers follow stringent quality assurance protocols, ensuring fewer defects and better consistency.
      - Chinese watches, while improving, often focus on mass production, sometimes compromising quality.
      ### 6. **Value for Money**
      - Japanese watches like Seiko offer exceptional quality at competitive prices, making them an excellent investment.
      - Seiko’s affordability combined with superior technology is unmatched in its category.
      ### 7. **Resale Value and Brand Reputation**
      - Seiko holds better resale value due to its global reputation and reliability.
      - Collectors highly value models like the **Seiko Prospex** and **Grand Seiko**, which showcase exceptional craftsmanship.
In contrast, while Chinese watches may offer affordable alternatives, they often lack the precision, innovation, and durability that Seiko and other Japanese brands consistently deliver.
