16 years later and Randy still sounds like the original recording. That's unbelievable.
He does sound dope as fuck even still…
I think he sounds even better honestly, he's got a bit of a deeper tone and it makes him sound even more powerful to me
@@HeavyMetalLukex yeah i agree, his highs have gotten even more ridiculous too imo, its incredible how he keeps getting better with age
@@papasauce234 Hellyeah, the older he gets the more he sounds like a fucking demon, it's incredible
He kicks ass! I wonder if he ever came out of the closet. Lol
'Daaaaaad, Randy Blythe is in my closet'
'Sure son, and Corey Taylor is in the fridge 🙄'
And ozzy's making breakfast
"sure son, and Corey Taylor is in the shower"
[I'm looking at you through the glass, don't know how much time has passed]
Dana Lombardi Jr Kirk is making a hammet
😆🤘
Least he ain't hiding in your shower
Bassist has the most metal background ever.
Books are metal!
You were expecting maybe Mordhouse like deathklok?
Wait wgat
You mean Saruman the White?
@@mateuszkoprowski1313 lol everybody thought saruman the white died but alas it was all an act! He did that so that he could create one of the most metal bands on this planet.
Can we all apreciate how clean everyone is playing & singing ?
Its sooo damn good one of my all time favourites already.
This is one band I know that even on stage their sound is tight no matter what stage scenario they play everything is set so all can be heard and it's epic
You have to imagine how long they’ve been playing together. How many times they’ve played these songs live and in rehearsal. I’d imagine it becomes apart of your DNA playing these songs for so long and so often.
How Covid has changed the internet!
It’s almost like if they’re a professional bands with tens of thousands of gear 😂
@@alexcorona They're only using a fraction of it tho. Pretty sure there's no real amps or pedals unless they got reamped by the producer. It doesn't hurt to spend 10s of thousands to get this sound, but it's not like it was necessary. You could make a virtually indistinguishable recreation for a fraction of their home rigs
Fun fact: They didn't have to use the internet to hear each other. They just played it that loud.
the more you know...
Lol
I laughed way too hard at this
That's plausible.
I was about to make a similar comment😂 I was gonna day it turns out they actually couldn’t hear each either they’re just that in sync with each other
I appreciate the fact that Randy Blythe is singing in his closet.
Better sound
The clothes kill the reverb
I wish I was just sitting outside the closet and it just sounds like a muffled demon just screaming in the closet
I'm very sorry moma, I didn't mean to hurt you, I didn't mean to make you cry, but tonight, I'm screaming in my closet.
squanchy
Best cover i've ever heard on youtube. Goodluck guys! Hope to see you produce your originals. I will definitely buy your songs.
😂
this comment is gold
WHY DOESN'T THIS HAVE MORE LIKES?!?!?!
ummm but do you even know that this is the original band that made the song? Wow you're not even like a fan at all, are you?
-i guess I have to say this is sarcasm because internet....
It’s really them with 66 samus
These guys are meant to play as a band together. Whether it’s on an actual stage or a virtual audience. The music breathes
Holy fucking shit, Randy sounds just like he does on the studio Album. That talent is on another level man.
He sounds great here! I thought the same!!!!
He's the fucking man.
my friend saw them and cannibal corpse live and said hes great live, sounds amazing and he has a ton of energy
just saw them live a few days ago, they put on an amazing show
Yes, his live consistency is pretty incredible. And to think, they formed in 94.
Randy: Mom, can I record myself singing with the boys?
Mom: Do it where you don't bother anyone
Randy: Ok ...
Randy's brother: yeah f*cker!!!
😂😂🤘🤘 yeah Mann
😂
Fr
Randy says "I'm sorry mama. But tonight. I'm screaming in my closet"
You know, randy came out of the closet after this. :-0
I read that singing lol
This makes Mudvayne happy
Nice joke lol
there's something so eerie about hearing Randy but not being able to see him on the intro
Not having shows for months did wonders for Randy's vocal chords.
It really did, he sounds fucking great here.
Absolutely
@@austinmaclean801 I'm pretty certain that he's lip syncing.. either way.. still sounds great.
Lamb of god should be on everyone’s bucket list of shows to see live.
@@VideoScope what? No hes not
These guys are quite good on covering Lamb Of God's Laid To Rest, I have to admit it. :D
Lol
Indeed Bro.
The only unknown band to cover a big band like LOG 🙆🥺🤣

I really miss Chris, but Art absolutely killed it! Rock on y'all!
What happened to Chris?
@scott doran he left lamb of god.

Ashes of the wake will always be known as one of the greatest metal albums the world will ever see! 🤘
agreed
Randy is such a monster. His vocals are getting better it seems wtf!!
Just like fine Wine ..the more time the better lol i think jajaja
Probably because they're not touring as often so it gives his voice time to rest
Did you know he only started doing the Death Metal growl as a joke?
i wish I could do something that well as a joke.
@@SniffHeinkel yeah I saw that interview. ' Cookie monster' lol
Always amazing
"I want Lamb of God"
"We got Lamb of God at home"
Lamb of God at home:
For once, I'm not disappointed
I'd never leave home
This comment is a gem- holy shit I woke up the house laughing at this.
Literally
Ah you nailed this one! 😝🤘🏻
There's only one Lamb of God.
I've never really listened to these guys but it's really cool that they let their grandpa play bass.
😂😂
😂🤣
First time I saw them live I thought it was sick the bass player was some 70yo dude... turns out he's younger than the singer and only 47 lol
The best part is it's like he's not even trying, it's just natural.
Hilarious lol
i love how the bassist's room just looks like a nondescript dad's living room
Sounds like they've been playing it for 16 years
Yeah wonder why lol, this song totally didn’t come out 2004
Randy in the closet is awesome, pure juice of metal!
I don’t always listen to LoG. But when I do, so do the neighbors.
Wow yep, never heard this one before 😴
😂
Spreading the Word of God
you just want attention right?
whether they want to or not lol.
This sounds a lot like “laid to rest” by lamb of god
I thought it sounded like into the pit by Testament
Both of you are clearly wrong its silent lucidity by queensryche
Sounds like down under by men at work
It kinda does
@@jakeherington7237 hahahahaha!
The best drop d riffs ever.
I was smiling the entire way through. Still my favorite song that you've written so far. With the nostalgia, it will probably always be so.
Is Randy Blythe singing in the closet
You betcha - not some sounds bouncing off the walls when recording. And less likely the neighbors can hear.
His clothes absorb the sound. More compression.
Omg that's hilarious
Harry Potter has really grown, now hasn't he?
It works like a cabin !!!!!
I always Love Chris Adler. Favourite Drummer. But tbh Art Cruz is killin it like a beast 🤘🏻
Its easy to copy another persons work
Chris has actually given Art his love in "taking the throne". Otherwise I'd be like fokk this guy.
@@theshireman5642 lemme see you do it then. Do you expect him to rewrite every drum beat? Or just decline to play the old stuff? Chris is a king for sure but damn ninja, big words from a halfling.
@@electricfil well i can play this song on drums yes...just saying way easier to copy work then to write it. Chris basicly gave him all the answers to the test
the shire man what about the album they just released? Chris didn’t have any part in that and Art did an awesome job on the bongos!
First day in the guitar lesson
Teacher: You’re holding the pick wrong, fix it Willie.
Willie:
I just love Randy’s vocals so much.
Jesus alike on guitars, aquaman on drums and galdalf the grey on bass.. 😉😉😁😁
And a white hellboy on rythm guitar
1 Jesus and 1 homer Simpson on guitar.😅
did u say galdalf 😂
*gandalf 😂
LMAO. made my week.
Ashes, sacrament and wrath what a trio of amazing albums. Nobody can come close to Lamb of God🤘🤘
As a teenager listening to disturbed and linkin park they were the first properly heavy band I started listening to. Been a die hard fan since.
I started listening to metal in the 80's . But was missing something real heavy till I discovered Sepultura and Machinehead. But then I heard Redneck and that was it. Lamb of God kicked their ass. Heavy as shit metal with that twist of hard-core punk.
Palaces slams too
The sound is amazing! I cannot wait to see them live again. By far one of the best metal shows.
That “woo!l” at the intro was great.
Love seeing these guys jam out
If you went to a Lamb of God show and they just played the entire Ashes of the Wake album it would not be a waste.
They should record themselves playing the new album like this. That would be dope AF.
I've always been impressed with how consistent this band has been in their sound, and I'm saying this as someone who has seen them at numerous concerts. I grew up in my early to mid twenties visiting bars, clubs, the amphitheater, and other venues in and around Norfolk Virginia.
Love the “WHOO” at 0:29
Randy singing as if time hasn't passed. What a boss. Super clean performance by the others too, supreme musicianship right here.
Still one of my absolute favorite lamb of god tunes!!! Rock on 🤘!
4:24 “GoPro, stop recording” 😂😂🤣🤣
Never realized how “busy” the bassist is. Wow.
This song never gets old....
To think that 5 different neighbourhoods heard these parts individually without realising the epic that was it was to become. Love these guys!
The bassist makes it look like smoke on the water, he's SICK!!!
Right even throughing in some thumb action on the low E GOAT
Ооохх,рубилово! Класс!
He’s a wizard man
Dude he is so fucking smooth and his playing is super technical. Those reaches are wild man my hands hurt watching that as a fellow bass player lol.
This song is so good, especially considering it’s live. Lyrics are so good!
LOG sounds amazing in the studio, at home or live in concert. amazing band
Love how Randy's voice is sounding this days.
Randy in the cabinet
Best Lamb of God song ever made. Period!
The sound quality on this is almost album quality. Amazing job mixing this
So badass, no quarantine can contain Heavy Metal
Randy is almost 50..but his rockin it like madbeast at mid 20s..overall hands down to log including their new drummer..
What happened to chris?
Still one of the best songs ever written. Living fucking legends. They are icons. No one can do it like Randy. I remember first time seeing at HellFest in like 03. Instantly became my favorite band.
The bass is just sick on this song, amazing
Cant believe that sound is live, great!!!
Surely edited production-like, but yeah, cleanest version I've ever heard. LoG tier level.
Cant believe how randy still sounds great for his age
Have u never witnessed them in person? They're pretty flawless live 👌
@@MrMarkSully
If not, watch Killadelphia. Randy and Mark dance on the streets of Glasgow.
Love the added pinch harmonics. This band couldn't possibly get any better.
agreed.
I thought that sounded pretty tasty
with that slow bend.
@@ryanpurpura80 oh fuk yeah!!!!!! Tell me about it!, I thought the same thing! That slow bend on the second pinch for sure!!!
Trying to learn how to play this on guitar and I have to say it is so tough to get as clean of a sound as these guys, across 2 guitars no less. My mind is blown.
These are the legends that'll forever be the coolest of them all... To me.
Randy's wife opens the closet door. "Randy did you take out the trash?" Randy 2:53
Lmao

I was lucky to see them live when they come to Mexico City and now see this broadcast live and direct
i love the lamb of god
SO GOOD.
GREAT WAY TO START THE DAY❤
See kids, playing drums to this song is like riding a bike.
😂

iTake offence to this comment of yours by means of the Athletic Pubalgia that iSuffer from and can't ride a bike.... never had a Drum Lesson in my life, though my brother did and iStayed away from his Pearls....
More like riding a bike up a 90 degree angle hill
...except the bike is on fire, and you are on fire, and everything is on fire, and you're in Hell
This song will never get old! 🤘
They never changed , stayed true to their sound no matter what . And keeps getting better and better . Mad respect for LOG, best moment in my childhood was seeing them live in Portugal 2009
Daaamn. These drums are tiiiiiiight
I remember playing this song in Guitar Hero, and it's still a banger.
@Common Sense honestly seeing the shit made for modern guitar hero the skills for GH are serious af. Definitely has become its own beast lol
Brings back memories of high school. Man, Ashes is a classic.
One of the greatest bands in the planet. The drums are out of this fucking world, the guitar riffs super groovy. Miss Chris but he’s doing great stuff too now.
this is probably the best version of the song, it's so crunchy and deep sounding. The Rhythm section is really standing out
This song NEVER gets old
Still killin it after all these years ❤️ I'll never forget seeing LOG play thier first set after Randy got back to the states in 2012 at Knotfest in the pouring rain, singing London Dungeon. Absolutely. Fucking. Epic.
Sounds so tight and the bass and drums drive this tune flawlessly
Why do I love this?
When I was 14 years old (and after seeing them live twice) I never imagined I'd be watching them live online during a global pandemic, headbanging in my home office.
This still hits harder than my step dad after all these years
I felt that
This comment has gotten so fucking old. Please quit recycling it and just let it die...
@@matthewrossilini5808 thank you
I'd whip that ass too with a face like that
Johnny Bravo oof I thought that meant something else.....I watch too many documentaries
That basis is amazing
Lamb rules!
As to how Randy is still able to scream just as perfect as he did when the song came out is incredible.
I'd say it's marginally better on the Killadelphia album. ruclips.net/video/3vq-SohrO5U/видео.html just as a reference.
In case you were actually curious;
It’s because Randy is an extremely well trained, disciplined vocalist. ‘Screaming’ like this isn’t what it seems, it’s not just brutalizing your vocal folds to sound scary.
Like any instrument, it takes thousands of hours of practice and training to avoid destroying your vocal folds over the course of years.
So he’s able to sound like this consistently because he’s a consummate professional who takes great care of his instrument.
Evan Preston truth. There’s an art and a science behind it. At face value it sounds like grinding your vocal cords to a bloody pulp, but it’s really just breath control and acoustics with a tiny bit of tension.
the first song i ever heard from you guys....i love cranking this up at the start of a driving adventure..... the neighbors maybe not so much lol
This is their best song!
These guys are so underappreciated this was awesome
Still one of the dopest breakdowns ever.
heck yeah
Love the way Art kicks in! ✌✌
Look how genuinely happy the drummer is to play this song!
One of the best cover
The consistency in their live performances surprises me every single time.
On a lighter note, saruman, young Dumbledore and jesus in the same band😅

You’d think Randy Blythe could afford a bigger house!
Why have a big house if you're never in it Haha? So many more investments can be made when you save a hundred grand a year on personal property taxes and only paid an upfront cost of like 150,000 to 350,000. So expenditure wise its brilliant and still plenty cozy. I'd live in a small cabin if I made their money. Simplicity over complexity.
