Yea but somehow with this genre all instruments always seem way too loud, in a sense that if there would be a greater rage of volume or a better mastering/mix it would sound so much better. Especially with the band northlane. Maybe I can stretch the volume peak levels (this shouldn't have an influence on audio quality) like the opposite of what you do when movies have too loud sound effects and lower-keyed voices.
I find that really hard to believe if you've ever actively searched into what metal has to offer, I mean cradle Filth is signed to the same record label now and they've had a wider variety of these noises for decades, there's Igorrr which they even incorporate a female vocalist who does opera mix-ins with harsh vocals, and even on like the most mainstream channels there's Lorna shore which have one of the biggest varieties of one man but like I said that One is very surface level

Such a brilliant band. Musically, visually, lyrically, etc. Every once in a while the perfect musicians connect and magic happens. Jinjer is just such a band!
Its damn good. From soft and melodic to kicking you in the throat. Its awesome. Sounds amazing if you have a proper stereo system too. The bass is insane.

Yea but somehow with this genre all instruments always seem way too loud, in a sense that if there would be a greater rage of volume or a better mastering/mix it would sound so much better. Especially with the band northlane. Maybe I can stretch the volume peak levels (this shouldn't have an influence on audio quality) like the opposite of what you do when movies have too loud sound effects and lower-keyed voices.

I find that really hard to believe if you've ever actively searched into what metal has to offer, I mean cradle Filth is signed to the same record label now and they've had a wider variety of these noises for decades, there's Igorrr which they even incorporate a female vocalist who does opera mix-ins with harsh vocals, and even on like the most mainstream channels there's Lorna shore which have one of the biggest varieties of one man but like I said that One is very surface level

I had to listen while reading the lyrics for a while until me ears learned to decode the distortion. I sometimes forget she's growling now.

Vlad's not only keeping time, he's the governor of tension in the song. Those hits against the rim before the first big shift call up the gathering thunderheads, and in the "Neptune's child" section, his cymbals get just that wee bit more insistent to telegraph the double-time attack to the end. We haven't even started with the ghost notes.

@@gtrsean2429 honestly it makes less lyrical sense for the lyric to be blaze , when belies definition means to hide under or behind ... I am pretty sure the translation to English may be a bit skewed here but either way the depth of the lyrics are phenomenal and the music accompanies the message its speaks of in its duality

Such a brilliant band. Musically, visually, lyrically, etc. Every once in a while the perfect musicians connect and magic happens. Jinjer is just such a band!
Haven't been surprised by a change in song like that in decades to be honest.
Its damn good. From soft and melodic to kicking you in the throat. Its awesome. Sounds amazing if you have a proper stereo system too. The bass is insane.

@ramoncardinali ?? Captain Clock, Words of Wisom and Sit Stay Roll Over are fking bangers!! You may need a few listens in order to understand the concept and their intention but these songs are catchy, groovy, heavy and fun anyway 🧐
