I love Neumann speakers and have multiple 2.1 systems however I was hoping for more control with the MA1. The Ma1 software doesn’t allow you to see or modify the parameters set, only the curve is shown graphically and the target curve can be adjusted. No information is provided about other parameters such as phase and time alignment, nor the specific dsp filter parameters. In addition, with the MA1 calibration you lose the ability to use bass management and the Neumann Control app, so there is no way to disable the subwoofer without switching off the calibration. This means you actually lose functionality when adding this calibration system. I’ve asked Neumann support and after a long delay just got a response acknowledging the limitations and stating that hopefully they’ll fix it in a future update... Really wanted to love this system, and it has great potential, but they need to invest in the SW before this is a real professional solution.
Those speakers aren't just the sexiest monitors on the market, but for sound and mixing, they're still the best on the market right now!

I also have two kh310a monitors and I absolutely love the sound. Unfortunately, the second midrange-tweeter is already broken within 3 years. Unfortunately, Sennheiser Vienna can't tell me why that happens, because I hear 90% on room volume and my studio is air-conditioned. However, I want the kh750 with ma1!!!!!!

Hello! Should I wait for the KH310 DSP? Or support adjustment of 2x KH310 + 2x SUBs?
I purchased the MA1 system last week for my KH80 speakers and performed the alignment yesterday. Likewise, I am happy with the post MA1 alignment sound and found the alignment easy to perform. Now I am curious if there are any other uses for the MA1 microphone?
Hi, the MA 1 measurement microphone can be used wherever a very linear omnidirectional mic is needed. Due to the very small and therefore omnidirectional capsule up to highest frequencies the noise level is slightly higher compared to large diaphragm microphones. You just need 48 V phantom power.

on 0:12 of the video I see you placed the KH 750 under your desk which is in the middle of the room. The instruction manual says, the Sub should be placed max. 0,8m off a wall. I really would like to know if that's an issue, because I have pretty the same situation (wall ca. 2m behind the desk). In my case I planned to put the KH 750 to the wall behind the desk, which then wouldn't be in line with the Monitors. Now I am confused - what should I do? ^_^
Hi there! Since you have a KH 750, you are very flexible with the time and phase alignment to the monitors.
Our recommendation is to place the subwoofer against the front wall and at ¼ or ¾ of the room width.
Generally, it’s best to find the best position based on measurements. Therefore, you can take the MA 1 procedure and just measure your system at the main listening position. Then skip all further mic positions step to the next screen with the shown result. Here, you disable the button "Activate Automatic Alignment" and look at the results. You then step back to the previous page and repeat the measurement at a different position. Repeat this procedure until you’ve found a position where the non-linearity between 10 Hz and 90 Hz is lowest. Once found, repeat the measurement procedure with all mic positions.

If that measurement screenshot was the "before" correction reading of your room... You really don't need this correction software. You'll be just fine.
