yes it's increased a lot in the last few years. I have watched these videos since at least 2014 and I have noticed a significant increase. BUT if you actually go there and look around you can find deals that are not 'advertised' because most of them are the owners relying on word of mouth. But yes Coronado and Boquete have went way up.

Very good information. However, on cars. Some of us like the convivence of having our own cars. Privacy is also a big factor as well as enjoying minor maintenance and repairs. You mentioned a registration process for bringing a car to Panama. Can you provide some more information on this?

it's in the guide on the website. You pay a tax on it. It's pretty hefty. Depends on what Panama thinks its worth, not what you paid for it. Most people that want a car wait and buy one there. Seems to be less expensive. I have seen that the insurance is MUCH less expensive than the states.

It's much better to buy a car in Panama vs importing a car.
