Excellent routine. I have done this one a couple of times and stumbled on a wonderful little banter change. I start with the joker as the seeker card rather than the ace. It allows for the first "mistake" reveal to begin selling the error by looking like I'm trying to reconstruct the trick and allowing the spectator to 'check the joker' before re-loading it to the top of the deck. The narrative then becomes 'the joker is playing jokes while I'm trying to do tricks!' After the triple-lift and wrist kill, I claim that 'Hah! I know the joker, and he likes to play his jokes 2 at a time. So, I trapped him into getting out of the deck'. Then on the final phase when I use the random card from the top to do the seeking, I get to re-claim the skill over the deck with the original trick 'when the joker is not joking around'.

I did this trick but the part where you put the card upside down i put it right next to the other upside card already in the pack, pretty embarrassing ;/
no, it's not the exact same trick. Everyone has his/her own version and use of "William Tell" and the one I teach does not reveal the secret sleights used by Daniel Garcia. Mine is a simplified version of the effect that anyone can do within minutes :)
