Their "banter" feels so rehersed. It's almost like her pause and sigh is a cue to her husband to step in and encourage her or add color to help her gain sympathy. It happens almost 100% of the time. Gross.
And the constant "babes"... None of this is genuine. Absolutely none of it.
As a Christian who has deconstructed, I think Brittany Dawn is simultaneously fascinating and infuriating because of the language she uses. She speaks with all of the right broad-strokes spiritual-sounding “Christianese” verbiage that is super common in modern church spaces, and I think she does so knowing it lends her an extension of credibility. A lot of churches tend to paint Jesus and salvation this way, as someone who came to rescue them from the world and sin, rather than their own sinful natures. In this way, it shrugs off all responsibilities from the individual. In this way, mistakes are something that happen to you, not because of you, which makes Jesus an easy catch all to bear repercussions, and you can’t question it without risk of seemingly questioning someone’s walk with the Lord, which feels equally as shitty.
Also they way they call each other “babe” constantly drives me nuts lol

Yes! That’s what makes it so grating. Sure, the death threats are messed up but that always happens. They lump legitimate criticism in with those people and refuse to take accountability.

I also don't like how Jordan acts like she shouldn't have been sued over "only" $75- $100. That is A LOT of money, to A LOT of people, and that is an incredibly privileged thing to say.
Edit: Bad business practices is not "dirty laundry". It also may shock him to learn that the majority of people don't have bad business practices and police brutality as "skeletons in their closet".

To the best of my knowledge, she went through a private Christian agency, not the state (though I'm sure there are loopholes in the state system as well).
The way she puts so much emphasis into “I was a single woman living alone!” “I hadn’t met Jordan yet!” Like there aren’t millions of women that live alone and don’t have an aggressive limp dick in their house to slap strangers with and WE ARE FINE. We aren’t weak and waiting for break ins unless we are in relationships and it’s so disrespectful to women to play into the narrative that we are weak and defenseless without a husband.

Every time BD says anything, I just want to say to her "You. Are not. The Victim." I don't doubt that this has been incredibly stressful for her, but she is the culpable party. Whatever stress she's feeling should be taken up with her personal counselors, not the internet. Brittany’s top video of all time that is not fitness/health related is her HOME TOUR. She consistently posts photos using her front door as a backdrop. If she was ever stalked, even once, she would document it and post it everywhere as it is a near perfect attention magnet.
About the horse - you can find her google review of the facility and the owners respond saying they had been tending to the horse for as long as they could after she stopped making payments. They claimed to have been reaching out to her for quite some time that she needed to pay for the horse’s food and medicines and she never paid. That’s why she is being accused of neglect.
I love that yelp review!!! The owner of the horse stables also clarifies that pics Brittany posted of the horse looking sick are from when Harley got sick and Brittany wouldn’t come take care of him or pay for a vet to come out so the boarding place stepped up and payed the vet and nursed him back to health. The healthy pic is during a year while she was boarding him where she only saw him like 5 times all year.
My dirty laundry isn’t almost killing a man or causing ED’s and huge amounts of theft and I’ve worked my ass off to rectify the shitty things I’ve done so 🤷🏼♀️.

I’m reading about this third party interference thing he was beating his chest about. Was he suggesting that writing a sponsor of hers and saying you wouldn’t do business with them as long as they were sponsoring her is interference? Because from what I’m reading, that’s not what interference is. It sounds more like some anti-trust or collusion stuff.
Of course, I’m not a lawyer, in a case you couldn’t tell.
I wondered about that, if emailing a sponsor was really interference to an extent someone could get in legal trouble for. I doubt that it is, but Brittany and Jordan are probably trying any fear tactic they can at this point.

Like, Brittany, babe, they tried to contact you so you could make things right and you didn’t… and now she is twisting the story so she looks like a victim. I’m kind of frustrated they agreed to a settlement because she clearly has not changed.

Thank you for this video, I looooove having these long videos to listen to at work! What I do not love is every time Brittany turns to Jordan and goes, “you know this, babe.” I do not care what your husband knows about these situations. He is not you. He was not there. Knowing what I know about him, I do not trust him as a backup source! I really despise that he’s so involved in her recent content. It feels so slimy and like she needs support because she’s just a baby who’s been so wronged! It gives me such an ick.

I’m confused how a podcast where all she talks about is “poor me, I’m cancelled.” Has anything to do with being inspired by Jesus or his teachings being the framework for your life. She doesn’t provide any helpful or constructive. What Christian is getting anything valuable from this.
I’ve heard it said that suffering is tied to the inability to let go. I’m reminded of this because it just seems like the idea that this is small, minor and she was innocent is something she won’t ever let go of. It was fraud, stealing and a lack of making it right. It’s not just “paper” to those that put real stakes in it. Their time, money and emotional investment are not insignificant. You cannot virtual signal yourself into being innocent. Even IF people fell for that it’s still a ruinous position. I don’t pretend to know her experiences, but I do know that if she had just done what was needed to try and truly set it right, then it would not have gotten to this heavily saturated level. And she’s still holding the same position. It sucked for everyone.
I hope she’s safe for sure, but I’m glad there was a suit trying to keep people safe from this Herculean pile of BS… Oh and further fraud/manipulation.

Every person who was scammed was someone’s daughter, or sister, or wife, (or son, brother, husband). There were probably many loved ones of the scam victims who would have liked to expose the scam and warn others, but didn’t have a public platform to do so.
Her husband has to be on the payroll at this point because why is he even here?

This podcast episode is a masterclass in DARVO, Brittany always has to be the victim no matter what and it’s always something someone is doing to her, not ever anything that could be the natural consequences of her own actions. And also nobody is entitled to sponsorships. It’s not a crime for a company to hear about something that doesn’t align with their values and then change their actions accordingly.

Forgot a point I wanted to make: Ok, obviously to Brittany and Jordan, 100 bucks is chump change. But they need to keep in mind that not everyone is able to see money that way. That kind of pissed me off...
Ok the comment about people coming to her house...yeah, that's not cool regardless of how you feel about her, however...she's been online for how many years and no one has ever mentioned to her that she should take steps to hide her identity and other private information about herself? Have to admit, their claims about getting in person death threats is starting to seem a bit thin.
I don’t appreciate that they are minimizing what happened it’s not about the epaper plans it’s about the laziness and mis representation of what was promised along with the amount of money was made taking under false pretenses.

Edit: It is ridiculously disgusting and disheartening to hear Jordan make that statement inviting those guys back to their home as Brittany is reliving the trauma of people who came to her house to do her harm (and could have killed her) when she was in such a vulnerable position. That comment (combined with his past actions as a police officer) tells me everything I need to know about him. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a fan of Brittany in any regard, and I think she has misrepresented her past actions and continues to do so. However, it’s nothing short of despicable for Jordan to make such a callous remark and flex his own desire to (potentially) shoot/kill someone. I guess even without the badge those guys still have trigger fingers. I’m giving Brittany the benefit of the doubt that she wouldn’t lie about such a serious and traumatic situation, and I hope that she is eventually able to find some peace and healing, and eventually feel safe in her own home.

It’s actually absurd to me how Brittany has been able to so completely twist the narrative in her own head. Like i guess that’s what you have to do in order to keep seeing yourself as a good person, but she truly is so detached from the reality of the situation- which just confirms to me that she did not actually take ANY real accountability in the situation. like “people saw me as a fraudster”,, GIRL you COMMITTED FRAUD!? she still cannot see or accept that
The constant use of cancel culture is so grating. She admits that the people sending her death threats aren’t her fans, just random edgelords the internet. I think every woman gets these, albeit not to the extent BD probably does. But she’s acting like culture or her former fans or snarkers or whatever are coming after her. When it’s the same gross dudes online doing what they always do. They have this condescending tone and never admit that she scammed people.

These dingdongs don't make sense. They need to stop downplaying the money she stole. They also need to get their story straight. If Brittany's audience was 99% women and 95% of her harrassers are male, then her harassers are not people who are pissed about "digital fitness plans". Her stalkers sound like creeps who hate and target women. So stop downplaying your bad business practices and stop crapping on your former fans. The stalkers and the creeps are a separate issue. No woman, including Brittany, deserves that kind of harrassment. Stop conflating the creeps with "cancel culture". Being held accountable for your actions isn't "cancellation".
I will never understand people on the internet that send death threats and desires for horrible things happen to a person for almost anything. I do not doubt she has received that a thousand times over. I just cannot imagine that someone came to her house with a snarking mentality to shoot her dead. I think that she may have heard random gunshots in the distance and constructed this narrative in her head. And now believes that narrative wholeheartedly. But her persecution complex is just so strong. And her “recounting the event” made me so angry for some reason. The idea of vacationing in trauma. Just ugh.
Also, I could easily see a shitty online antagonist or armchair detective podcaster finding her parent’s residence to exploit for content.

I can't with these two. She did this to herself, he was a bad cop. They made their bed just lie in it and stop complaining. Maybe God wanted justice for their victims ever think of that.
They speak about people not wanting to be held accountable and "hiding behind cat avatars" while spewing hate at them.... and yet they're here belittling the people who were promised something, minimizing the damage, making out like people are being upset over nothing and claiming that it's "just a little money" (which is exactly what Jordan is trying to do by saying only 75-100).
Also at the end she states something like about people dragging this out / obsessing over her / etc, which, I don't doubt, but, Brittney. The reason is because you've constantly acted as I previously stated. If you said "I messed up and then I messed up some more, and some people were treated unfairly and I'm willing to do what I can to fix that" literally all would be kosher. Sure some people would still be unhappy but a lot of this wouldn't be this bad. Instead we get hours long of "woe is me I've been so scared!! Feel sorry for me!"
