Great overall video of how to. Just a heads up for anybody doing this tho: if you have the bigger front arm (41.5mm, like this video) you need to press in the larger side of the bushing in from the back of the arm, and stop pressing once the step on the bushing is flush with the inside curved part of the arm. Don't just press it in a lil bit with small side first. Engineering wouldn't make sense. It needs a certain amount a surface contact to create its bond. If you have the smaller arm then your press the smaller side of bushing in first til it stops because of the step. Confirmed with spc, and makes sense.
J.s i just did mine and did not remove the wiper cow . You go through the brake master cylinder assecs door to get the drives side . The passenger side is a p.i.t.a ,but can be done . Unhook and remove the purge solenoid. Use an 18mm swivel head ratchet wrench.
I have a 2012 dodge charger with 22's and my camber is horrible tires wear out from the inside...my question is can I just use a camber kit bolts in the front or do I need to purchase the control arms?..
I lowered my car on airlift suspension and I’m about to add the spc bushings how much degrees should I add in the back? The height of the car is about the same as the eibach sport springs. Thanks for any advice
If you installed these with hole at bottom dead centre would that mean the camber would be at 0. Just trying to replace a bushing that I destroyed while changing out a rear driver side cv shaft. No lowering kit, just a stock 300. Having a hell of a time finding a replacement that doesn't have some sort of adjustability. Any help would be appreciated. Good video, thank you.
Great Video!!! Planning on installing spc/eibach camber bushings in the coming weeks. SPC offers the 66025 - BUSHING PRESS ADAPTORS. Can i use this with any ball joint press or does it have to be the SPC one??
Hey man, getting an alignment tomorrow with the same machine they used here. Should I tape my wheels like you did, or were you just being extra cautious?
I literally have to do this exact process on my Dodge Challenger SXT when my Eibach sport plus set comes in! (Lowering springs, new shocks, sway bars, & links). When I go to do my alignment, doesn’t it effect the vehicle with it being lifted just like in your video, with incorrect measurements? I figured I would have to check while it’s sitting properly and lift it, adjust, lower it again, then re-roll all over again to and keep tabs on where my angles are at each time and then repeat the process all over again and recheck again, and again, and again. Can you explain your process so I’m not taking up time at my shop’s times. Also, I’m the kinda guy I like getting every time near picture perfect. Not a single spec off! Would I have to buy adjustable control arms for the rear to get that? I don’t care if it’s in spec and it’s in the green, I’m more of a principal kinda guy. It has to be exactly on the mark or .1 next to it. I’m getting an aggressive drop so I wanna be sure. I’m ordering the same kit you are right after i install my Eibach kit, and check my alignment to see where it sits at currently
I’m having problems with my front camber and caster alignment shop says I need adjustable ball joints should I go the same route as you did with the front and rear for the best alignment
Silver Hemi yes dude. Look up whatever manufacturer makes adjustable suspension components for your vehicle and buy them. This is a no brainer question my friend.
my front left caster is -1.2 front right is -1.7 Both front toes is .10 Front left camber is -1.9, Front right is -2.4 Back left camber is -1.9, back right is -2.4 Back left toe is-.05 back right Is .10 Just got it done at pepboyd I already told them the camber is off, on the back right. What do you think of this considering I just got it done? It seems like whoever did it sucked. Im kinda pissed. I do a lot of driving around towns but do like to speed it up here and there and hug turns tightly although I don't mid a little drifting although I just want it like how it came from factory.
Cory, a couple questions, first, how much did it cost to do this work. On the rear camber bushing, you removed both the flat bushing and the step bushing, but you only have a single camber bushing for the rears, right? I am pretty sure I just missed your point on the back bushings. Trying to find someone I trust to put these on is a challenge in itself.
Looks like they removed most of the negative comments. If you listen to most of what shock hair guy says, you will now I less and less about cars. He is wrong about 2/3 of what he is saying. Explain? I have previously and it has been removed. Hmm. Why?
The way this guy pronounces “camber” is giving me heartburn.
Why?
@@Simplemind45because it’s pronounced camber. Not cameber.

4 years ago and still very helpful. Thanks Bro.

Thanks buddy! I am not sure I had all the spc stuff and it worked great!
@@DrivewayDemons Could you tell me the torque specs for the lower control arm. Thanks
What did the shop up there charge for the install and alignment? I would travel to get it done after lowering my scat
So Dodge does not make them adjustable the caster/camber? So they can charge more?
Did they have the car on a jack while adjusting the front camber? I can’t get that movement with the load of the car on it.
It's a special lift on high end alignment racks
Where did you get this done? I purchased them for my Scat but can't find a decent shop to install. I am in NJ also.
So after u install the rear camber kit how can u adjust or u have to press in a certain way for perfect tire wear
ruclips.net/video/6140LlBYOv8/видео.html
Does this affect rim or tire size in any way? The top of the bushing looks much higher than oem.

I would tape them for sure
Thanks man.

Will this work with 22's?..or do these need to be shaved down?..
Looks the same set up as the old 05 to 2010 SRT suspensions, also this is a lil confusing.

Whats you location? Dealer is charging me 800 for the camber caster bold package and labor
So did you supply the parts or the shop? If you don't mind me asking, how much for the install? I'm out on LI and having both installed soon. Thanks
I supplied the parts.
bonito dodge charger pero me gusta la durango srt

Back left camber is -1.9, back right is -2.4
Back left toe is-.05 back right Is .10

I used both on one side of the rear. The other side didnt need it. Also the cost will vary but anywhere from $200-$500 for a complete rear.
Driveway Demons he asked a really good question. So 1 will change the camber and the other will change the caster on ONE side, correct?
Very good
denada suerte y saludame y sube video de la durango srt
Voy a hacer muchos videos de srt durango. Recibo el camión en noviembre, quizás en octubre.
my right rear is 1.8 also argh
What is this "we" thing LoL 😂. The guy is only getting in their way.
Where did you order the SPC arms?
Directly from spc
Driveway Demons Do you have a link
Who makes SPC? I need to fix my front alignment after lowering the car. Eating new tires!
