    I BECAME SOooooo much more flexible somehow and I've only watched this vid a few times. Your content is great and this deserves like 100,000 views! Keep making videos for us pls! I literally couldnt touch my toes for like a month and then did this exercise a couple of times and now I'm closer than ever! I can do the pigeon pose almost perfectly but don't know how to stretch the front one so I can get my splits but i'm working on it :) I think my hamstrings are just tight but I'm now closer to my middle splits than ever and sooo amazed!

      Hey Water bottle! Dont forget to give your body time to rest! I made this mistake when i was working on this routine. My body was still growing but I was constantly in pain. Hope you wont have to go through the same pain that I did. Check out the new Top 10 stretch for a more focus exercise on legs and back for splits. Look forward seeing your results! =)

      @@allisonhertig9301 Thats really good feedback. The stretching part of the channel has pivoted to Top 10 stretch(ruclips.net/p/PLt3x-Wjix6CwD7p4x1bB7DjQlCLwAmAV3) since I feel it makes more sense to structure it that way, but perhaps it is missing a bit more positive encouragement.

    stretching shouldn't be super painful, just a little, overstretching can cause just as many issues and there's nothing wrong with going little by little - thats how building all habits and abilities works

    How many days a week would you recommend to do this to begin with?

    • @aerialpractice
      @aerialpractice  2 года назад +1

      I have not done this one in a few years now because as I grow I keep adjusting what works best for me. I would not stretch more than 3times per week, but i would spend more time conditioning the muscles that help me to grow more flexibility without stretching too. You can check out the latest oversplits challenge to get some ideas what I mean! Hope this helps.

    • @aerialpractice
      @aerialpractice  3 года назад

      I dont think its true tho! You are just likely to see more women getting attention from posting my stretching routines online. I actually learn from a lot of men either online or in person. Fitness is still a huge male dominant industry, and many sports require flexibility.

    Is it possible to reach your goals, if you are stiff as a rock? 😅The pancake fold position is almost impossible to do. I can't keep my legs open

    • @aerialpractice
      @aerialpractice  2 года назад +1

      I feel like i was stiff as a rock! That's not a bad sign Avva. The first step is to know what's your weakness, the second is to find out what you are missing in your training. this might take some trial and error but you can only improve if you are working on it! =)

    How do I know which of these videos from the playlist I need to do? I am a beginner and I'm stiff as a rock! I stretched for two days continuously, and ended up being really sore. I thought I would give up, and I came across your channel. I prefer stretching for four days a week. HELP!

    • @aerialpractice
      @aerialpractice  4 года назад +3

      No need to give up! I am here to help! I also thought I would give up because I was stiff as a rock - No JOKE! If you don't want to invest on getting a coach, then you will need to be patient and learn as you go. You will learn to listen to your body to find out what works best for you. I would recommend you to try the Top10 STRETCH playlist, always stretch different areas, dont just focus on 1. I made this mistake, wanting to have a beautiful backbend so I worked on back stretches, later I found everything else like shoulders, arms, hip flexors are also important to work on to advance! Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions
