    Hello! Your videos are amazing. I’ve been doing this workout and a split stretch routine of yours every other day. I’ve been getting amazing results!! I’ve almost got my middle splits with 3 weeks of stretching and sides splits I have!! I also have a question though. My parents and I are going to put an Ariel hoop in my room. Sense I only go to class twice a week. My room is the heighest room in the house. My room is 8 feet tall. Would that be enough room for me to mount if I put up a hoop? Thanks so much!! Your amazing!! 💕💕

    • @aerialpractice
      @aerialpractice  4 года назад +3

      Thats wonderful news! So happy you enjoy these routines! This routine is getting easy for me now since I started working 10 MIN abs on aerial hammock. I can never imagine, especially I was dying couple weeks ago just trying to fulfil this 10 MIN. Experiencing progression is definitelly an amazing feeling!

    • @aerialpractice
      @aerialpractice  4 года назад +3

      Regarding your hoop, i dont really have any recommendation when it comes to rigging. Since I am not a professional rigger and I do not know how your house is structured. I can only tell you that my space is about 2.8M tall (about 9 feet), I can practice moves for hoop on the top, or in the middle, or under, but I will have to adjust my hoop height accordingly. Hope this helps!

      YESSS this is why i have a hard time to share flexibility or strength routines i feel. Really nice to meet you Julie! I am impressed by your motivation to practice and keep improving. I was 27 when I started and I thought I must be "too old" to get flexible and do crazy gymnastic stuff. Now I know this kind of thinking is exactly why I would keep myself within my fear instead of taking the step to grow. I am happy to find some links for you, but I have to know where you locate (region wise) and whether you have a setup around. I dont have advice on setup because it is impossible to evaluate without seeing your actual space, and it is a job for professional. Safety is more important than anything when it comes to aerial, but I can at least share some resources for you to check out. Let me know how I can help!

    Thank you very much for the videos. They're helping me a lot while we're all stuck at home. I also have a question: I've been trying my best while breathing to breathe from the stomach (rather than from the chest), however, I find it extremely hard to keep a hollow body hold and pretty much every core exercise that I imprint my lower back to the floor to engage the abs. Is there any way to keep my core engaged while breathing from the stomach?

      I still find it hard to keep my lower back down. My workout mindset is different now tho. I am really thinking about activating and squeezing rather than just repeating the movements. so I am just thinking and trying hard to keep pressing it down. Do other exercises if one feels impossible to do it right. Got to keep adjusting based on my level.

    Dear Eunice! Your floor abs workout has been my go-to 5 times a week and I gave just started integrating your abs workout on the hammock into my regime. Still, I am having a lot of issues with inverting in the air due to clicking hips and the damn gravity :D crossback straddle still seems impossible. But I don't give up, I hope one day my muscles will oblige. 💜

    • @aerialpractice
      @aerialpractice  Год назад

      I totally understand. it takes work to invert. I had been thinking a new video on more progressional exercises for straddles, and sharing how you can find the weakness so you can target it, wasn't planning on making it but your comment is giving me some inspirations.

    • @aerialpractice
      @aerialpractice  2 года назад +1

      Sounds like it's either form or strength. I would do more strengthening exercises for glutes, side abs, and legs to build out the strength, so I can use more muscles instead of tendons or joints for the movements. But that's my approach to my body response. If you are unsure you should check with a professional trainer/physical therapist, they can assess progress and give advise according to your need.
