    Oh, finally found a video for REAL BEGINNERS! Other videos have really hard and advanced elements. Except for the 2 final exercizes, I think a beginner can do. Thank you!

    Omg I just did this one year after getting seriously into pole dance and I remember how difficult this used to be and now I can do this easily! How nice to know that the body can always do more than what we had thought possible. Thank you so much for the inspiration as a learning adult athlete

      I also remember how difficult every single thing was, now it is still difficult but in a whole other level. So happy to hear that you have been growing in the past years too! More joyful years to come =)

    Everything about this video is so helpful, I've tried so many different beginners back flexibility routine recently but this is the only video that truly feels accessible. It's the perfect pace, the timers and sound when you're done with one exercise are super nice, the intros to each stretch are clear, everything was perfect thank you so much!

      @@aerialpractice oh thanks for asking! I'd love to see a video focusing on deep/Asian squats, I still have difficulty getting my heels on the ground in that pose and I feel like it's a factor hindering my progress in the splits. Also there are not many good routines videos out there about this.

    I found your video today (1/21/21) and I am excited about one day doing a back bend! I’ve always suffered from lower back pains. I would love to increase my flexibility and strengthen my core. One of my workout goals is to repair my core muscles. I had a C-section about three years ago and my stomach muscles are so weak now. Thanks for making this video. I really appreciated the clock and exercise tracker...it really helped me Jedi mind trick the psyche!😂

      Thank you for sharing with me your goal Marissa! I learned it from other youtube routines and it was so hard to start. I was so scared that I would not have enough strength to hold and break my head or something. But one step at a time and i made it! You will too!

    I can't wait to try this, thank you so much for making a true beginners back bend series. I have decent flexibility in many areas, even good in some but back bends are beyond me. I almost think it started as a fear thing because of a weird diving accident where my feat somehow came up behind me and whacked me in the head superhard and crushed me to the bottom of the pool. How does that even happen? ! I think I automatically tense up when I try to bend back and fight against myself so I want to just really thoroughly understand the basics and take it gradually.

    • @aerialpractice

      I was the same! Back has always been my biggest weaknesses! If you are too, maybe worth trying this new routine I just posted.
      My intention on how I use my upper back and mid back massively changed my back flexibility. Hope you'll find your progress soon too!

    Thank you so much for these high quality videos! I used to be a gymnast as a kid, so I have some remnants of flexibility, but I ran into some trouble with deepening my flexibility without getting injured. I discovered Active Stretching vs. Passive Stretching, and it has made a WORLD of difference in my progress! Thank you so much for guiding me through the process, I'm looking forward to seeing how bendy I can get! My next goal is needle pose. I have solid splits and backbends, can't wait! With these active stretch routines plus my classic passive stetches, I'm seeing the progress happen slowly but surely!

      I feel exactly the same, but without the gymnastic experience tho. It's hard because I have a lot of basic techniques to learn and conquer. You will get there!!! Try out Morning Stretch too. It's a 1 month morning routine, nothing fancy but effective: ruclips.net/video/Zem761mSOJ4/видео.html

    • @aerialpractice
      @aerialpractice  4 года назад

      Depends on how your body feels. I would switch to stretch different areas (like leg today, and back tomorrow, and at least a full rest once a week) to give your body a chance to rest. Rest is the healing time that is equally important!

    • @aerialpractice

      There are lots but i find static stretches harder because in order for it to be useful you have to know the intention and preferably already have the support muscles whihc you can build with dynamic stretches.

      I used to also focus a lot on extreme stretches, but lately I learn that it's more important to think about extending and feeling your muscles and actively extending in your stretches, no matter how simple it might be. It really helps to grow flexibility! So in Oct I am going to share my morning stretching routine every day! They may not be the hardest move but if you think about how flexible cats are, they don't sit in their flexibility limits for hours, rather they just really use every opportunity to stretch out different parts of their body.
