You wanna hear something really badass? I know a lady the went to a Metallica concert in the 80s & it had to be around the time RTL came out, cause she said they opened with the song, & the whole time they performed RTL the song, she said it was also heat lightning, she said it was so cool. I think God knew they were on their way of being very successful, so he added a little visual to the show lol.

this is a band man,they are 4 person.
I was there. Ghost + Metallica, best concert of my entire life. I still remember that we were soaked from head to feet, was raining from the morning. The autodrome was full of people and mud and the rain wont stop falling. And then James said something like "That's not fair that only you guys are under the storm" and the whole band moved from the covered stage to the open stage, under the rain, with us all.
Rob: "Lars give me a kick"
Lars: "I don't think it matters, but anyway" *starts good rythm on kick drum*
Rob: "AY AY AY AYAY AYAYAY AY AYAY"
Lars: "god dammit everytime"
Judging by how Rob never fucks up while playing live, i'll assume he's doing it intentionally to speed Lars up. Not sure why, but that's the only explanation i have. Or maybe he was just drunk.

I believe he's said in interviews that he quit cussing just for the sake of cussing, because it removes the emphasis and power of the words when you do use them, when you say them every other word.

1xCold it’s mostly rob he speeds up the bass lines to immediately causing Lars James and Kirk to speed up but they still sound amazing so it’s not that bad
i kinda think that all members of a band are supposed to keep time :D

Metallica is my all time favorite band and when I hear them it's such a familiar sound that it's like being in the presence of a family member and dont get me wrong, I'm very thankful that they're still doing live concerts because even me being a fan since Kill Em All, I just finally got to see them live last fall so I'm truly thankful that they're still playing live and still giving people the opportunity to see them in the flesh but my question is... how... how the fuck can they still be going on tour and playing after all these years!? If I were in their shoes I think that I would dive head first off a sky scraper at the very thought of playing another gig and spending so much time on the road away from home! And like I said, don't get me wrong, being a fan since the beginning and only for whatever reason just recently getting to see them live I'm very thankful that they're still going strong at it but how....how the hell do they still muster up the energy to go out on the road and play live event after live event....just crazy....I don't think I would be able to do what they do for as many years as they have... pure legends...

I was There. Seeing Metallica for the first time in my life. We were really close with each person and me and my father were feeling so hot cause of the overcrowding. My father said : I hope for a rain so we can cool a bit. The time he says that , the rain starts and metallica start this song. Loved that moment...

i was there !
the day was just terrible, i drove under heavy rain for about 4 hours , got stuck in traffic countless times , park my car pretty much far away from the location in a place where i don't know if parking was ok ( yes, it was! ) and spent the next 10 hours under the rain, covered in mud ( and since the location it's also used for horse racing/show a bit of horse's poo ) .
metallica was on stage , rock solid under rain too , awesome show from any point of view ..
and finally, when everything was over i had to call a friend who lives in milan for sleeping at his place, too bad i didn't know his address and he didn't' answered the phone ( i call him maybe 100 times!) so i've to find a room , 150 € later i was sleeping in a hotel's room with mirror on the top and side of the bed , with strange human noises in the background and strange stains on the carpet .
i'm ready to do it again tomorrow
