- The ALL NEW 2020 Shelby GT500 Ford Mustang is a BEAST!!
Today I drive and review the all new 2020 Shelby GT500 Ford Mustang!! This car is so fast and sounds amazing!! The exterior design is extremely bold looking from the front with an aggressive bumper and sharp body lines. I love seeing all the functional aspects to the design. Air inlet for the air intake, two openings for the brake cooling ducts, and openings for all the radiators.
The Twister Orange on the 2020 Shelby GT500 is the perfect color and I like all the black accents. The quad tip dual exhaust sounds awesome during some revs, fly by's and accelerations!!
The interior had the optional Bang and Olufson audio system and Recaro seats. The black leather looked super nice with the grey stitching and accents. And I love the use of black alcantara!
The new GT500 only has a Tremec 7 speed dual clutch transmission and you can see the Ford rotary dial shifter in the center. The DCT in the 2020 GT500 drove so smooth and delivered the power with precision. I really enjoyed the responsiveness to the paddles and it complemented the supercharged V8 very well!
Driving the all new Shelby GT500 was a blast! You feel very connected to the road and even the handling was on point! The steering was precise and it really made the new GT500 feel like a proper sportscar with amazing handing abilities. The accelerations was awesome from the supercharged V8 and it sounded sick! Also got to see a quick look at how line lock works on the 2020 GT500 and see a massive standing burnout!! The 2020 Shelby GT500 Mustang makes a massive cloud of smoke during the burnout!

That quiet mode is a fantastic feature for keeping your neighbors from wanting to show up with pitch forks and a torch in the morning. This is one hell of a machine
I agree! It's nice to have a feature like that especially for a loud car like the Mustang! I wish more cars had that for times like that when you don't want a loud cold start!

Bros FOURR Speed so happy to hear that! We already have a plan to take it to a track on Saturday and have some fun with it. We got one in rapid red with the racing stripes down the middle and the side. Everything else is the same as this one in the video. By far one of the most beastly cars out there.

They feel very natural, you can have the fun of doing it yourself, without always needing to tug around switching gears when you just want to chill.

Also is there automatic seats options? Adjusting manual seats can get annoying at times.
The GT500 turns some heads for sure! But a lot of people will still look at it as a normal Mustang. So probably a bit of both

16.5” front brakes. The 2020 GT500 Brembos are the biggest brakes put on a domestic production car. Hold the left paddle down then go full throttle.
Yeah it's got some robust parts on it! I was allowed to push it a bit. But you run out of road real quick!!
Great car. I have a GT350 and still love manual better. Not sure if they'll do a manual for this one as it would lose some of the more modern features and probably not be as good at the track.
The GT350 is my favorite! Super mechanical! Doubt theyll make the GT500 in a manual tho
I like it when the Ford mustang Shelby is in the quiet mode sport or track camera also… The Dodge charger SRT hellcat even the Dodge challenger SRT hellcat the Dodge challenger demon that the challenger SRT red eye
The quiet mode is nice to have for certain times! The Mustang and Challengers are cool depending on what you like!

Im 16 and I’ll be buying my first vehicle next year which will be a 2010 Ford Mustang and it will be a V6 since I don’t see my self racing or needing those extra 2 cylinders, mainly also because I don’t want to spend too much money on gas since I will use it as a daily driver, but I look up to owing a Shelby in the future when I’m 30 since my dad had a Mustang back then in the 80s and my family has been a Ford family ever since I was born.

No it shouldn't because it's based off a GT4 race car none of those have a manual transmission

@@fread51 Not trying to continue this "argument" but who said you can't have a performance car with a Manual transmission? Porsche brought back the manual because people wanted it. And Chevy and Porsche made it so you could no lift shift, and have auto rev matching to make it faster

What is the availability in the UK? and what is the maintenance like, I was once told that Mustangs are fairly simple cars to maintain and most competent garages can service etc BUT is this one different?
