Saddam Hussein’s enormous capacity for cruelty is only slowly coming to light. The tales of his former executioner shed light on what really happened to the ‘disappeared’.
The once overfilled death cells of Abu Graibh prison now stand empty. But the horrors that took place here cannot be easily forgotten. Saad Abdul Amir was one of Baghdad’s hangman. He was responsible for the deaths of thousands of people. “It was a terrible job being Saddam’s executioner,” he confides. “I knew that most of the political prisoners who were killed at my hands were innocent.” The condemned would often have to spend weeks standing up in the ‘correction cells’ before they were executed. They would then be marched past a smiling mural of Saddam and up the ramp to the gallows. Their families were never informed of their deaths. Only now are they finding out their fate. “They were tortured for several days” states Saad. “You could scarcely recognise their faces, they were so swollen.” Saad hopes to start a new life for himself. But he remains troubled by all that he has seen and done: “The voices of the condemned used to haunt me in my dreams. They still haunt me.”

I’ll never believe this guy had no choice to feed his family but just doing this butcher job. He was completely fine with it but now when his ass is on fire he is acting this way! Outrageous.

The man who carries out an evil order is worse than the man that gave that order.

Journeyman Pictures has some pretty interesting videos I must say.

Pay close attention and you'll see that most of their films are really right wing, globalist, capitalist propaganda.
For example, they uploaded this one because of the U.S. torture report of couple of days ago. Here the aim is to show that "Yes, CIA tortures innocent people. But PEE-INVASION Iraq did too".

Roxidius Just judging by the related videos by Journeyman Pictures I'd have to disagree. 'The US prisoners sent around the world for torture', 'The innocent man the CIA had tortured in Syria', the Italian Imam kidnapped by the CIA for torture in Egypt' all contradict your assertion

You are quite literally judging a film by it's title.
Let me present my evidence: Go watch "How US Torture Poisoned Iraq's Post-Invasion Recovery".
The report has a very misleading title. The film is about Saddams torture practices. It's Not about what the title says! They just make a couple of token remarks about US torture practices.
Again the message is: "We are not perfect but jeeesus look at these messed up stuff over here! We are way better than them! They are way better off after we destroyed their country!"
