Despite how Sadam was portrayed by western media, we can't deny the fact he had Iraq under control.
I'm not disputing his ways or defending him... just for the record I'm no Saddam fan. I can say Iraq and Middle East as a whole was a better place prior to this fake war. Saddam had no weapons of mass destruction and the West was fully aware of this.
Terrorism couldnt breathe
Bit Man under control ( do not allowed USA do shit on them ) USA created ISIL to against him. 911 and Invented the nuclear weapons was the good game. We know many countries wanted to control Iraq and they supported USA. Bush gang deserved to go jail for all the crimes they did it, soldiers killed innocent people and leave a thousands with PTSD.
@Cousin It this whole drama and war on terror is a big drama for the benefit of Greater Israel project... as for Saddam it was a smoke screen created by the West to destabilise middle east and again all for greater Israel project and steal resources ie oil
So did the moderate socialists and bathists before him and the king before them. His tyranny is not excusable by him holding the country together, though some level of control was probably needed.
They should make a movie about the life of this man ASAP!

Haha, it was on the sanctions list
Afrin is in Syria. Tal Afar is in Iraq.
From what the doctor said, I understand that Saddam do trust Shi'i and he was not into religious clash with the Shi'i, it's pure political. And I really agreed by what the doctor said. That Saddam was the face of the people of Iraq, like being said by Prophet Muhammad PBUH, what I understand the meaning is, "Your leader is the reflections of you". So, Iraqis got so much to do to change for the better.
How could this silent, smiling man been so xtremely brutal?
In a country where there are many feuding nationalities a leader has to be cruel to be kind as you see what has happened to Iraq without strong leadership. The biggest problem is what the British did when they carved up the middle east and Asia splitting nations and tribes on both sides of borders which has led to violence all around.
Dictators(strong leaders) always find ´´arguments ´´ for cruelty...
British introduced betting on cock fights and dog fights also which is.popular in the region
Exactly, 💯 percent CORRECT.
the British didn't place the ethnic and religious groups to where they live now and have been living for the past few hundred years. And geographically it makes sense to form one state out of the former Mesopotamia. If you would create a Kurd state in the North, a Sunni State in the middle and a Shia state in the South, you would have three economically unviable states, two of them landlocked. Those states would be easy prey to more powerful neighbours like Turkey or Persia. And what about the other smaller ethnic groups, the Assyrian Christians, the Yessidis, etc. ... they still wouldn't have their own state and be suppressed minorities.
Blaming everything on the British and the borders that were drawn after WWI is cheap.
Very educational interview!

Obviously people are scared of the truth. This video has not been too popular.
I’m 31 now. I was young when Iraq got invaded but I remember watching the statue being pulled down and believing it was a great thing for the people. I’ve grown now and understand things a lot better. He was a horrible man who like most ‘leaders’ only cared what he could get out of the country and not his people but.. Iraq then and Iraq now are night and day. It got me thinking what would of been better for the people? He needed to go he was evil, what should have happened after he was gone? Also is there any hope for those countries now. What could be done to make them great again? Are they beyond help. If u read this looong comment thanks 😂 it’s a genuine question I’m not bashing
Hello. I'm 44 now. Do you still want to know how to help these people?
Let me start by saying that I am an actual Iraqi from the south (Basra). And I would certainly say that the country has great potential. I can see it becoming just like any other advanced gulf Arab country (i.e. UAE, Qatar, Kuwait etc) if not more... If and only if security stabilizes... This country has been a conflict zone more than any other country in human history. Conflict that has sent the country back to the stone ages. Once security gets under control, and the infrastructure gets rebuilt, it can be a great hub in the middle east... Fundamentally it ticks every box... This is proven by what ancient Iraq have accomplished some thousands years ago
@@SuperKINGXON I’m also Iraqi, and I can tell you.. that there’s a world of issues in Iraq right now, mostly due to the corrupt leadership... Iraq used to have one ‘dictator’ but now they have hundreds of dictators.
@@dripstar6183 it's not about dictators, it's about competence. The leadership in Iraq right now may not be competent enough to handle such extraordinary circumstances that no other country faces. Therefore the mission to reforming the country and getting it back to its feet requires strong allies that can watch its back. Iraq leaders unfortunately chose unstable and weak allies to begin with which has spiraled the country into the mess we see today. Leaders in Iraq need to put thier emotions and beliefs aside and start thinking logically of how to strengthen the nation on all side in way possible. It should become a smoother ride as things pick up (with backing of a strong Allies of course in case of any threat) its simple really
@@SuperKINGXON that is true I agree with that... but most of the leaders in Iraq right now are Iran puppets who are serving Iran... they pilfered an estimated 1.7 trillion dollars (according to the U.S ~ Pompeo) sent it to Europe so their families could live in nice mansions very comfortably from national resources... they haven’t built 1 thing for the country... and I challenge any Iraqi to say that they have provided 1 extra thing for Iraq... all the infrastructure right now in Iraq was built by the Saddam government.
The only thing extra thing that they provided is they let people slash and whip themselves and their kids in public for some b.s religious ceremony which Saddam banned as he called it “uncivilised”.. thats the only thing they changed in the country lol.

But the dumbshits here are more focused on the "Ehh" and Larry David jokes. The story about the Saddam Paintings are symbols of "how much people love me", "Their replacement is twice as bad as the person I replaced", and "This is normal for Iraq", show the twisted alternate universe Dictators live in, how Westerners have no clue what they are doing (note: I am not saying something should not be done regarding dictators, im saying that you should know your enemy better) and his analysis shows that as much as we want to blame one singular person for this, when the entire system is rotten, it effects everybody.
