    Pretty! I was surprised how you made it. I figured after you glued the first end shut you would pour the resin into the other end then glue the top of the straw

    Wouldn’t it be easier to seal on end standing up, then use a syringe to fill to the top?

      You can do it that way too, but I think it’s more likely for bubbles to get stuck in the resin.😯

      It would be harder to get the layered flowers, especially without bubbles.

    How did you hey the resin to evenly distributed through the straw? Was that a clear coat of resign to close the straw up?

    This is really cool I haven’t done any resining yet. Still putting my supplies together (boy getting started is expensive).
    I am trying to figure out to make ergonomic handles for crochet hooks.

      Why not make them from polymer clay? It's cheap enough to just buy a package and experiment. Done need all the tools to get the shape right. If you make a design that's a keeper you can make a mold of it and then use that to cast in resin.

    Good idea to use straws, but I think it would be easier to just seal one end and poor it in the top. 😊

      In my experience, doing it that way traps more air bubbles inside. 🫧

    U seem to be applying the resin on top of the straw but what u get is a solid tube of resin!? Or u have a slit along the straw n is pushing the resin in through it? Tks for sharing this beautiful technique

    Disculpe no x q cerrar de los dos lados para después tener q abrir el medio ..no hubiera sido mejor cerrar solo un lado mientras q seca preparar el relleno ponerlo en parado hasta q se seque y incluso le pones el gancho y se endurece yo lo hago así menos lío y después corto el no se como le dicen ai aca en argentina le decimos de muchas formas una de ellas es sorbete o pajita ..en México popote

      You can use a silicone baking mat.
      If you don't have a silicone mat either, you can maybe use a clear file instead, but it might melt.😥
